  New blood card system in March

  there is going to be a hole new system of blood cards this march .

  the congregation won’t hold any information as they did before from march it will be all put on the pub.

  i think it’s to do with vaccines and they are worried now they got everyone vaxed and they want to distance themselves from medical responsibilities and say own personal decisions.

  They are flush with money. Can't spend it fast enough. The bigger more expensive project it is the more likely to be approved. So it goes.....

  Meeting announcement for emergency contact info of non-JW friends & relatives (?)

  i just saw this post on reddit and can hardly believe it.. if i remember correctly years back they told you not to have anything to do with non-jw friends or relatives.

  they discouraged you from bothering with non-jw family and to avoid them on holidays!!

  i needlessly missed out on some delicious holiday meals with people who genuinely cared about me.

  Biahi, yes, I knew a brother with a large property with numerous houses on it. He left it all to the society except for one house his daughter lived in. The society contested the will and they won, daughter couldn't afford to fight the society's legal team. They took the girl's house.

  My guess is the money guys in the organization know that property and money may inherited or left to relatives unknown to them so by having close contact names gives them a head start on going after anything of value not willed to the society. They can be ruthless when it comes to claiming rights to a dead witnesses' property.

  Some Jw's are the worst employees

  i found a company and employed an elder as an underwriter and two ms as sales and marketing.

  anyway, this elder will delegate his work to the ms in sales and marketing, so he can go home early.

  he knew when he got started that this would be a 10 hour a day job with some saturday.

  is it possible that jw's would get so worn out by watchtower 's bullshit that they would stand up gather their stuff and walk out of a meeting or a convention.

  i can see a small number doing it..

  It was 2010 and I was forcing myself to go, about 10 min into watchtower study I said to myself I just can't do this anymore. Got up and walked out. Never been back.

  How many of you remember the "Pioneer Shuffle " and the special "time reporting" of pioneers?

  i started pioneering in my late teens an remember how slow pioneers would walk to the doors while out in circus.

  also, they would not really talk to anybody at all.

  they would start their time as soon as they got dressed an out the door, while us regular shucks started our time at the first door we knocked at.
