I think some are mixed up. There is Woodbury not too far from Warwick/Tuxedo NW of NYC and S of Wat Farm and then there is Woodbury on Long Island in the other direction, SW of NYC. This new project is on Long Island.

Back when I was PIMO my main stresser was the huge amount of time I was wasting at meetings, getting ready for meetings, service, preparation for talks, meaningless association with the "friends" many of which wouldn't be friends who were not real friends just phonies.

Door to Door

once in a while i see them doing their cart work and my still in relatives talk about going out in cart work, never mention door to door.
i haven't had a knock on my door since probably 2 years before covid.

When they used to call I was never rude or nasty. I used to be one of them! I would listen for a couple minutes and excuse myself. Really I have no time for them, when I left about 14 years ago it was finale, done. Where I live very very few local witnesses. There may not be any local witness left in the KH that know me. Cong is mostly Wat Farm. They come and go faster than you can learn their names. So I don't know if there are any Farm people left that would know me. Good.

Can Elders Voluntarily Resign?

When I stepped down the other elders treated me like shit. Don't know if it was because I didn't take their counsel not to step down or not. Sisters in the congregation were mostly OK.
