  to date JWism has defined my life and i hate that TRUTH

  and i am finding the adjustment to the real world far more difficult than i ever imagined...i f...it has been about five years since i totally woke up to the fraudulant nwt and then all my other doubts i had carried for years were proved true as well.

  but almost all of my few friends are exjw or slack jw's and i feel so isolated...my sons friends are mostly exjw too but not their gf's and they have way more normal friends .

  how have you done at replacing lifelong friends and family?

  SAD news about OOMPA......

  our friend, oompa, has passed away.

  just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

  it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

  my younger cousin.

  well,i was so worried about him and how he would feel/grow up if i stopped pushing the religion down his throat but i did.

  since then, the boy seems so much happier and comfortable with me.

  Brazen Conduct

  their new phrase,that i never read in the bible.

  it was used in the watchtower study today.

  and an elder used marrying an unbeliever as an example of "brazen" conduct.. does this mean they are going to start disfellowshipping those who marry unbelievers?
