A real difficult congregation???
by quellycatface inmyself and my family have had some odd experiences in our current congregation.
i have'nt been to meetings since september because of this.. 1. the co told the elder who was studying with my husband that he was doing it as an "academic exercise.
" my husband is very intelligent, been in the military, has a degree and a masters and a good job.

Well encourage him to hang out with his non JW friends more often, the more he is involved with Non JW stuff, his mind will stray from JW stuff. Ask him if he would like to play organized sports, if he says Yes, let him play. He will eventually forget about the witnesses, it will not be overnight thing.

Comment made by an uber dub aunt
by joe134cd inok i've read similar threads to this before, but i just thought i would share a comment made by an aunt.
my aunts bible student died, and due to the families wishes the funeral service was given in another church.
my aunt with a disgusted look on her face when recalling the events to me said "and you know what, they must of only spent about 5 minutes talking about the person, and the rest of it was about the church".

Anyone else work from home?
by confusedandalone inif so, how are you enjoying it compared to maybe sitting in an office or going outside the home for work.
i use to work in the office environment but after starting up my own thing with the with we eventually got office space.
then as we grew we have decided to leave the office space for the employees and work from home.. i am sure it is not as exciting working from home but the wife disagrees.

It is better to work at the office not at home, you would be more motivated that way.
