If the bible said that Donald Trump would be the last president of the USA, EVERYONE would vote for Hillary Clinton, That's why the bible is not telling us who! -

When I lived in Texas, one elder in my congregation did have a beard. He can't shave due to his medical condition.

I would like for this thread that will not be about Donald Trump after this posting. Let's talk about something else beside Politics. Thanks!

Does Mr Trump have his own 'hotline' to Russia's President Putin?
by fulltimestudent inaccording to australian newspaper, the canberra times (for aussies, its a fairfax publication) trump is able to contact putin and the conversations cannot be tapped.
(an interesting claim).. quote 1:.
"a former senior western intelligence operative, a specialist in russian counterintelligence deemed credible in washington, has provided the fbi with evidence that trump 'and his inner circle have accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the kremlin, including on clinton, since russian intelligence had compromised trump during his visits to moscow – so that he could be blackmailed'.

i'm currently 18, being baptised for a year.
i had my doubts, but due to a variety of reasons (getting subtle flack for not baptised, not having a support system even if i wanted to leave).

I agree with Pete about the need to have wait and see attitude. Just live one day at a time. Take care!

Appealing a DF decision
by HereIgo ini always found it interesting that one could appeal a disfellowshipping....if jehovah doesn't make mistakes, then there wouldnt be a need to "appeal" anything to begin with right?.

I do remember one sister got df'd because she invited two JW brothers to spend the night in her home because it was too dangerous to travel elsewhere in a very heavy snowstorm. The elders learned about it and they df'd her. I do not know what they did with two brothers. She appealed then she lost the appeal but she wrote a letter to Bethel and they wrote a letter to her body of elders to reverse df'ing, One of the elders announced to the congregation that they made a mistake, Rare Story indeed!
