  Ok after the earthquake

  dear friends, .

  we had a scary earthquake in peru... from cnn "a 7.9-magnitude earthquake centered off peru's coast killed at least 337 people and left another 1,350 hurt, the nation's health ministry said"... but everybody in the family is ok... we just had a big fright.

  we had to run out of our homes & wait for it to pass .

  got a 3. That test was stupid. If we all believed in what they believe, we'd be robots. And thats one of the reasons why I left the watchtower. I love having my own thoughts and opinions, and screw those who think their ideas are best.

  Is this sort of thing approved by the FDS now days ?? I notice his face is hidden so I'm guessing he isn't exactly giving us the entire story. The next question is why did he own up to being a witness ??

  as in, we have tons of younger to 50 year olds, but only a handful of folks in the 70-plus category, from what i can tell.

  so, is it just that older folks aren't on-line or computer savvy?

  VA Tech Incident - Stupid Things People Say

  watching all the pundits on tv after the killings at va tech yesterday, there were a handful of things that kept getting repeated that are just stupid.

  usually they also require an impossible level of hindsight (which a good number of the pundits have, it seems).

  i've just got to rant about this for a few minutes.

  Excellent post Seeker. All of very well thought out and true. Another irritatting rant I heard on CNN was someone spouting off about gun control. This comes up everytime something like this happens and nothing is accomplished in spite of all that hot air that comes over the TV screen. Bottom line, someone ready to die who wants to take other people with him is going to find a way. If not with guns, then with explosives (Oklahoma City) or gas/chemicals, fire or some other way of killing.

  well it took me a few years to make it but finally after the absenses from the board due to illness i am proud of myself.

  still not that well but better then some of you who are and others who have been quite ill. i know how all of you feel.

  your in my prayers.. so who will be first in line to give me 3,000 paddy wacks?????????
