So...It started out something like this

And fast turned into something like this

Just our Luck. A Cable Corroded and Well we had to Stop and Tried to fix it with what we had. Six got it up to half power and if we went uphill we got up to 20 some MPH and downhill 30 some!!!Strangest thing I ever saw. The car even said "reduced power." See...

While this was different and entertaining for a bit, we were glad when we got to a town where a nice man who had the coolest Model T (I think) helped us and undercharged us to replace the cable and fix the car. The kids learned how to go from one end of town to the other on foot in five minutes and we all entertained ourselves watching the youngest as her face is quite entertaining. My middle girl roared of the scariness of small towns and well I bought a forty and sat on a porch swing with Six and had a sip.

Then it was back on the road where my oldest girl entertained us by waxing with electrical tape. Then it turned into a Hitler imitation. (Sort of...) lol

Then we got to our destination where I did my job and watched everyone and joined in too as I had the best ribs waiting for me. For a girl who does not cook ribs, our friend Miss Andrea sure can make some bones. (You all remember her from that one fest!) mmmmmm

That was day one and I think everyone was tuckered out. Just plain tired. It was a LONG, HOT, AND SELF ENTERTAINING DAY. (With Good food at the end)

Great pictures sparkplug. I went to Oklahoma myself; about six years ago to visit my cousin. The small towns and townsfolk are an interesting experience for someone like me, who has lived in the LA area his whole life.

    Day two!

We watched the water, and the wildlife. Actually saw my first bald eagle. I did not get a good shot though I think Six may have gotten a better one. I saw Turtles on a rock and some beautiful, but maybe once hurt birds in a cage, walked in the water and then was very happy as the car made it all the way home with no problems! I even managed to get a picture of the elusive oldest son of mine in there) Kind of looks like a tree animal there.

I guess because of my age........I don't pay too much attention and am a little dull when it comes to the lives of some here on JWD....but am I ok in thinking about

    SPARKY and SIX? Yippie.............!!!!!!

It's ok. I just had the most wonderful vacation two weeks ago at the 1000 Islands in the St. Lawrence Seaway (eastern Lake Ontario) with the JWD'r I fell in love with three years ago.
