  one thing that i enjoy about this board is the variety of topics that you can enjoy.

  there is the "fluff" and there is the serious and there's something a little in between.

  After 1975 came and went, we heard every excuse in the books as to why we didn't get what was promised and talked about for years, "Jehovah has given us a little more time," "we did not agree to serve Jehovah until a certain date, we agereed to serve him forever," "Jehovah is testing us," "Jehovah has given others this opportunity." These quotes may not be exact, but I heard every one of them and more. What a scam !!

  I've already left one organization because I didn't agree with the rules and I have every right to leave this one the same way. Having said that, I've found this one fills a void in me and lets me vent from time to time and it is easy to vent without breaking any of Simons rules. So, I choose to stay and am grateful to Simon for providing this outlet. Anyone who disagrees can leave and take their permanent vertical smile with them.

  My cat--Need Your Help in Naming Her

  i have a new cat.

  a smallish young adult (1-2 years old) female, with black & gold back and white chest, belly and feet.

  i can't come up with a name i like.

  My daughter brought a cat home shortly before she left for college because her friends mom was about to take it to the animal shelter and daughter couldn't stand the idea of it being "done in." I was a little agrivated that she would dump the thing on me, so he ended up being named D.A.C. Thats for dumb a__ cat. In spite of his name I do enjoy the little critter.

  when i ran from feelings that were starting to come up, i allowed them to build up and become more potent until they burst out and spilled all over me and everybody around me.

  Im sure glad Vietnam helped you in some way, but you could very well have ended up dead and the rest of us would not have had the benefit of your wisdom. Dont even think of going to Iraq.
