Looks as if Native got in there ahead of me, and I'm glad she did. Her point about Xenawarrior is a good one. She is one of the nicest individuals I've ever met in my life and she won't have anyone mistreated in her home. We will be strangers when we meet, but not for long because of our shared background. I well understand how you feel !! When I went to Dallas for my first apostafest I thought I would be struck dead. Didn't happen. Met some very wonderful people, some of whom are comitted to Greenbay. Are we all perfect ? Hardly, but if past experience means anything, you will be treated with dignity and respect. I know of one person who went to Dallas to associate with apostates recently, who almost threw up on the way there because of nervousness. Now that person is singing a different tune, she loved it!
So relax, make the short trip to Greenbay and enjoy yourselves. Some of us enjoy these shindigs so well we are coming all the way from Texas to enjoy the company of you folks and others. Sure hope they don't shoot Cowboy fans up there. Bug

Why am I telling you this?
by Cassiline ini passed the accident late last night, a dark winding road, right past the college and then a bar.
yes, i wondered as i slowed what happened, is anyone hurt?
upon looking closer i saw a sheet draped so one could not see what the paramedics and firemen were doing.

Everyone thinks "this won't happen to me" and teenagers seem to have an "I'm ten feet tall and bulletproof" attitude. Hopefully this will wake up some teenagers and cause them to realize that driving is a very serious business and the laws regulating driving are there for a reason. Hopefully it will also serve to wake up some of us who are no longer teenagers. I say this as I am about to step into my vehicle and drive 1100 miles, one way, to Greenbay. Thanks for posting this and reminding all of us of our responsibilities. Bug

Those of you who haven't been exposed to the kindness and hospitality of Big Tex and Cruzanheart an really deprived. I have never felt more comfortable outside of my own home than when I was visiting them in their home. Even their dogs are friendly, it is unbelievable !! Never been so happy to have attended a wedding in my entire life.
Dallas traffic is unreal !! Where I live, four vehicles pulling up to an intersection at the same time is considered a traffic jam. In the Dallas/Ft. Worth if a commuter gets to work and home again without having an accident it is considered a successful day !! Thanks to Cruzanhearts very good directions, daughter and I were able to successfully find our way to Big Tex and Cruzanhearts home without getting killed. I will go back to Dallas because there are so many new friends in the area but I will continue to complain about the traffic.
As you can see from the pics, the bride was beautiful, the groom was grinning from ear to ear and the ladies in the room tended to be a bit emotional. In other words, a perfect wedding. Jesika and Eric both deserve happiness and I'm sure they will find that happiness with each other, they are two very nice people.
I also met Jesikas' Mother, her sister, her mothers' partner, more is better, Erics Dad and probably some I'm overlooking and for that I apologize. All of these people were friendly, polite, and I am proud to call each one of them friend. Bug

Most businesses have dress codes for employees and the Watch Tower Publishing Corporation is a business and the Witnesses are their unpaid employees and they are treated as unpaid employees.
Exactly !! Before I retired the place I work for allowed women to wear slacks, no problem. Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush also wear slacks and I hardly think anyone thinks any less of them for doing so. Once we get it thru our heads the WTS is a huge publishing company that needs to sell literature to survive, then some of these rules fall into place. And we thought it was a religious organzation.

We have a bird feeder which stands some 8 feet off of the ground and attracts several different typel of birds including sparrows. We started noticing that some types of birds were eating the grains of food that fell to the ground from the feeder, so now we scatter feed on the ground and, at times, that area seems to be covered up with sparrows. We also get Doves and bluejays feeding on the ground.
Thanks for the tips, going to get some bird houses and some type of bird bath for the little critters. Bug

Don't Take The Mickey..
by Englishman into all those people out there who keep referring to the noble name as "micheal", desist, i say!.
it's not "micheal", it's "michael"!.
meaning: he who is, or like, god.

Did you spot the deliberate mistake?
Actually, no I didn't spot the fact that capital and grammar were both spelled with all caps in your post. I had to look for the problem. Anyway I feel better now and I promise you I will never misspell those two words again.
