We're Finally Home!!!
by dottie inhope you all had a terrific weekend!!
amy was discharged on tuesday late afternoon and she's doing great.
when she was discharged we were still waiting for the anti-seizure meds to be completely out of her system, which was really the only thing that was keeping her in the hospital.

YAY Crystal !! I'm so glad Amy is doing better and you can all start getting into some kind of routine at HOME
I sure remember part of that routine- 2am feedings. Our son sounded much like Donald Duck when he woke at 2am.

XW, the pink/red flowers in your bottom picture look much like some flowers which grow here in Texas but with my somewhat less than perfect eyesight it's difficult to see exactly their shape, color etc. Is that your neighbors pond that they were working on when we were in Greenbay??
Phlox grow by the millions in South Central Texas but not here in the Panhandle. The four 0 clocks are in our front yard.
jwbot, you, no doubt, have more summer pictures, so start posting~!!!! I thought your pic of the cat tails was excellent. Bug

Both of these were taken in Greenbay last summer, the coneflowers behind XW's home and the Asiatic Lily at the botanical gardens in Greenbay. Purple coneflowers grow wild here in the Texas Panhandle, but compared to those in Greenbay they seem stunted here, I suspect because there is more rainfall in GB.
jwbot, hope you don't think we are trying to hijack your thread, but you apparently got a couple of us in a flower mood.

P.S. Bug- great picture of Valis ya got there !! His tail looks so fluffy !!
XW, I'll be the first to admit I'm a little slow on the uptake, but this took a minute, have never connected Valis with being a squirrel or squirrely but it seems to fit.

Fear Of Jehovah's Witnesses Stopped Me From Working Today.
by Englishman inok, so there i am at work today, zooming up and down me ladder as i affix fascia boards, soffiting and guttering to the rear of a customers property.. pretty soon it started to rain.. now, good people, fascia-ing, soffit-ing and gutter-ing are not conducive with wet weather.
for several reasons.. 1. rain makes your power tools unsafe.. 2. the ground on which you work gets muddy.
this mud then gets transposed from your shoes onto the rungs of the ladder.

For crying out loud man, get a fibreglass ladder. Your are, no doubt, working around electrical lines at times and a metal ladder could be very dangerous. Bug

I know how you feel Mona.. the elders are not there to help you like they say they are. I wouldn't even bother going to the meeting.. We understand what you are going through. I hope you hang around and get to know us.
Mona, look at the Watchtower Society as one huge sales organization, which they are, and the elders are sales supervisors. They do not, for the most part, have the education or the incentive to help anyone. You have already been given some good advice so let me jump on the bandwagon, dont go. -
