  get on the anti gun bandwagon,.

  it is not the middle ages, the rrvolutinary or civil war time- it's now - 2012 and soon to be 2013. america needs to become like canada, now now now.

  you can argue all you want, but if you can't open your eyes, you have some deep dark issues that require a shrink.. i will not answer you or taunt you.

  one the how many exbethelites thread it was mentioned that some think one either leaves down the path towards apostasy or as a 100% true believer.

  i'm curious what experiences did you face at bethel that woke you up (or started to at least)?.

  I did the two week stint to see if I liked it. Both Dad and I applied at the same time. They rejected him and accepted me. I didn't like that. I had a nice time there. No problems for me. I even bought Batman Knightfall when I was there. Had a fun part timer roommate too. The only thing I didn't like was running to lunch. On Sunday I got to look around Brooklyn a bit. Found the comic store...They KNEW about me though. They found a brother that I knew of back in Atlanta to take me back to the airport.

  I would have NEVER listened to Ruth Harris! That is pretty much the only thing I would have changed....Because without witnesses I would not have met my awesome wife.

  i was thinking about some interracial jw couples that chose each other because they do not have alot of choices like finding someone in their own race in the religion, i have been seeing alot more jw interracial couples lately.

  so wifey and i are reading the bible a chapter at a time.

  jesus killed the fig tree.

  i ask her why does she think he did that...she says it was to teach the apostles that we have the power of whatever we want to do.

  So wifey and I are reading the Bible a chapter at a time. Jesus killed the fig tree. I ask her why does she think he did that...She says it was to teach the apostles that we have the power of whatever we want to do. So I asked her do we have that power today...She said yes. SO then I commanded our ficus plant to wither and die. It didn't. She said I didn't have enough faith. So I put on the whole Jedi mind face to command the plant to die for around 20 seconds. Nothing happens. So I said to her couldn't Jesus just SAY that they will have power and not have to kill an innocent tree? She got furious...So I said If I went around with a hacksaw and a machete hacking trees would that put me in the lord's favor? More furious was she....I said all I am doing is asking questions....She could not reason at all why Jesus HAD to kill the tree....

  She is not a witness mind you but blind when it comes to asking questions about the bible.

  My wife and I bought a bar !!

  i think that we are a little crazy but we bought a bar in wisconsin last week.

  i still work for my jw family, but my wife is going to run the bar.. .

  My wife and I have owned a bar for 4 years now. Very rewarding experience....VERY TIRING experience....When I come out I will post pics of it on my blog and post it right here.
