  we need to unite on this one.

  all of us know names of elders and others inside the tower who are child molesters in different parts of the world..... now that we have some allied out there in cyberspace i would like us to make the most of it.... everyone who knows names and addresses to pedophiles inside the tower...now is the time to act!

  Okay, after some deliberation and consideration of your comments, efforts are being somewhat modified. Requests have been made for certain information to be collected. Once the final goal is achieved, it would be ideal if some cross-checking of information could take place. Nobody wants ANY innocent individuals damaged if it can be avoided. Ideally, if the 'official' database became available that would be the 'closer to perfect' scenario.

  Now, if the actual database is collected nobody here can control whether that information is shared publicly or through the authorities. However, efforts have been made to encourage that endeavours stay within the bounds of the law as much as is possible.

  Please keep in mind that this situation is highly emotional for many, many of us and maybe even if we have good intentions, our efforts and thinking can use gentle correction. I can only speak for myself, but I want as many children, families and individuals to be set free and live happy lives.

  If there is any way for us to try to find a common goal and unite ourselves, now is the time to do it.

  Information is being gathered and cross-referenced for accuracy wherever possible.

  If this is not an appropriate forum for collecting data I'm sure it will be gathered through other means.
  There are many involved and vast untapped resources.

  For those of you who voiced your concerns but also recognized all the facts simply cannot be put on the table just yet, please know that your opinions are very valid and are definitely being taken into consideration.

  Thanks Ynot... I do see why people are concerned. It's a huge mess with no cut-and-dry solution. But for those who still choose to be associated with the Watchtower, my suggestion is that THEY 'wait on Jehovah' or 'leave it in Jehovah's hands' if a list comes out and they are wrongly accused. Why should little children bear the brunt of a ridiculous policy put in place by a cult that has been imposed upon them?

  I'm sorry but if I have to choose between protecting a child from being abuse and raped or an adult being wrongly accused, I am going to protect the child. Statistically, pedophiles go on to abuse 100+ children over the course of their lifetime.

  I am choosing the lesser of the two evils.

  Elderelite, what you said is not entirely correct. If a body of elders believes an individual is no longer at risk of offending, in some cases, that person could serve as an elder.

  Also, if someone is convicted in the USA, then yes, their name is put on the National Sex Offenders Database. But that would require that the elders report the alleged abuse to the authorities. If it's not a reporting state, then the elders are told that they've fulfilled their responsiblity.

  If there are people who are Jehovah's Witnesses and false allegations have been made and somehow their name is released to the public, that is a risk that comes with being a part of the Watchtower that has a policy that leaves little children in harms way and give child molesters the benefit of the doubt. The Watchtower created this problem, not us.

  If people are worried that their name could be released as a pedophile then they should 'quit touching the unclean thing' and remove themselves from such a harmful organization.

  I'm sick and tired of give adults who have chosen to be part of this cult the benefit of the doubt and little kids are left in harm's way.

  I haven't said what the plan was and nobody needs a destructive cult. They might need spirituality or take comfort in their faith or their relationship with God etc... but nobody needs an organization that ruins peoples lives.

  Elderelite... your opinion is shared by some others. I realize that, but there are two schools of thought on this and there has been much debate if you check other threads.

  Nobody is saying that you need to support this in any way, shape or form.

  But please keep your judgments to yourself. I have no interest in arguing.

  If you have a better idea then please feel free to share it. It's as simple as that.

  My quick drop ins here are probably disconcerting and I apologize for that. Your point about potential risks involved for those who are still in, is valid for sure. Please use your own discretion in that regard. Some people have no ties to the JWs anymore... but they still know what they know and information that they can share - without having to reveal personal details - could be helpful. Thanks.
