From their POV, however, they have no choice.

Shoring up the premise of “God’s Exclusive Earthly Organization” is paramount - at this point, without it, there’s virtually no incentive left to even be a Jehovah’s Witness. It is - by the WTS’s own internal rhetoric - its entire reason for existing.

However, the use of more conventional methods to resolve their problems (such as Chapter 11) come uncomfortably close to being - for all intents and purposes - tacit admission that the WTS is not “God’s Exclusive Earthly Organization”.

the dead man's brother is designated "the avenger" and pursues the original guy in order to kill him for being responsible for the death.

he is allowed to do so, if the original guy doesn't make it to a sanctuary city.

I’ve long suspected that Jaracz & Co. essentially weaponized the “two-witness rule” to deliberately and specifically make it as difficult as possible to expose sex offenders in the WTS.

I strongly suspect that the weirder decisions they make are the result of trying to defend “God’s Exclusive Earthly Organization” against threats to its survival…

…without having to acknowledge - even to themselves - that the survival of “God’s Exclusive Earthly Organization” can even be threatened.

today i noticed 2 jw's and chart on the quest moment and the quest possible place.

looked tyred, ignorent and no kingdom smile.

what is going on with the motivation of the jw?.

The Org actually needs to have publishers count time, to create a payer trail of “charitable” activities in order to qualify for tax exemption, particularly if the IRS or other revenue agencies happen to audit them.
