i am sure we were all shocked at the governing body update #2 with the unusual and impulsive changes set forth.. i am an insider at whq, and when i was on reddit and in communication with avoidjw i explained to the best of my ability that the approach on disfellowshipping was going to change based on the new light at the 2023 agm, that the jubilee rumor was false, and there were going to be changes on how jws approached disfellowshipping in response to the norway situation if it didn't turn out in watchtower's favor.

the decision came because of a legal blow to watchtower, not because "holy spirit" wad directing a faithful slave, who is going to become the "evil slave", more explanation on this soon.. everything i stated came true.

…Fred Franz’s old Cold-War-centric End-Times narrative has gotten pretty dated (and all but logistically impossible at this point), and we’ve actually heard rumblings about some CO palaver down in Florida to go over upcoming changes to WT eschatology.

It does make me wonder just how and where they’d find someone with the creative chops to pull it off, though.

Many people don’t realize this, but genuine moderates have always outnumbered liberals and conservatives in any given social environment, including religions.

It’s why politicians, regardless of official leaning, actually tend to govern in the middle of the road.

There are exceptions who pander or even subscribe to the extremes, obviously, but they tend to leave a real mess for their successors to clean up…

…and the current WT crop was absolutely left with a mess in the wake of the Jaraczic Period.
