They need to be a legal entity for human law: but which law?
by psyco ini could be mr. green and, due to mistrust considering the times and what is happening, study with the jws as mr. brown.. get baptized as mr. brown.. become one of their congregation elders as mr. brown.. etc.
etc.. all this since i am not required to provide any signature and/or document to identify myself as mr. brown.. are they complying with human law?
but which law?.

Case in point… signing up for the redress scheme in Australia after the ARC.
The WTS dragged their heels until the very, very last second, and only budged when it became apparent their Charity Status was on the chopping block (they as much as admitted it, and their public statement sounded quite sulky to me, in fact 😏).
Looking back, I think that was when we first started cluing on something that seems painfully obvious, now (and virtually every bit of evidence we've seen since confirms it, IMO)…
…that the Org’s business model is almost completely dependent on its tax-exemption.
They literally can’t afford to lose it.

Something the WTS conveniently forgets to mention if/when they have to acknowledge that their charity status requires certain things.

unbaptized boy having priority over women
by enoughisenough ini was thinking about the male children ( even unbaptized ) being placed ahead of the sisters.
; and i thought the jw were raising a bunch of misogynist.
would these kids not feel more important than their mothers let alone other women.

JE-sus making a comeback at the 2024 Convention
by dropoffyourkeylee inattended the friday sesson of the 2024 summer convention.. july 5, 2024 summer convention crowd photo; they invited quite a lot of empty chairs.. .
the facility usually has 5500-6500. they spun it saying that fewer congregations were assigned.
there were 6 of the smaller, more distant sections blocked off with tarps to lessen cleaning, which i understand.

Bets on how soon they’ll just be discontinued, simply because of how embarrassingly low the attendance is?

God, if some enterprising coder came up with a mildly viral prank email that, once opened, accessed the contacts list, generated bogus messages labelling them as “apostates”, and mass-mailed them all over hell and back, the sheer pandemonium would be absolutely bonkers. 😅

“Removed” sounds like the new secret word on Putin’s Playhouse.
