from there i walked in to town to the chemist's (pharmacy) to get the scripts filled.
it's winter here, and my town can get get colder than is average for my state**.

The preaching work in general was never truly about converting new members.
It was about having a demonstrable activity and paper trail for federal revenue agencies to qualify for charity status.
Soup kitchens, clothing drives and the like never interested them… an attitude dating back to Russel, in fact.
If it were really about converting people, there’ve always been way more effective methods of doing that, and the WT leadership certainly had the resources.
