hello all.... some of you have been following our story from the beginning - and even those of you who haven't should be able to relate to my quandary.... last week my 14 year old son told me he no longer wants to be a jw.

we laboured over telling his jw dad all week.

well, on friday night he finally came clean.. but in a bizarre and unexpected twist, after having sex with his girlfriend for the very first time - in his father's home that very afternoon.

I think Nugget has a great idea! They mostly give those dolls to young girls . My best friends daughter had one in high school. I wonder if they give them to the boys. I'll ask her. Does this girl tell him she loves him, or does she just think it's a bootie call? Does he even know what she thinks ? I was madly in love with my boyfriend that I met at an assembly . I was 14 , he was 16 . Married 2yrs later. Lasted 10 years. Ask your son if he's ready for THAT! That should scare him straight! Sex=baby If she is like you hint in your post, she may not care if she gets pregnant. She may want to excape her home. ( I could hardly wait to get my own place, and do what I wanted to do. Be a grownup!!!!!!! lol ) She may know how to work the system,get housing, WIC..bridge card ect. Your son might be attractive because he's a NICE boy.

I agree with Iconoclast ....I was pregnant and married at 16.... If you play. you must PAY, and condoms don't always work.

Condemn the cathlics for baptiziing babys, but it's ok to baptize six year olds. If when you grow up and leave the Cathlic church, you will not be shunned. If you leave the JW, you WILL be shunned and lose your family. You tell me, which one is worse????????

this is sad but also quite inspiring...thought i'd share it.. .

a gentleman named derek miller passed away yesterday from cancer.

he was loved and admired by many in the vancouver area (and beyond).

I at one time beleived that I would most likely be dead at 21. You see, that was 1975, and I was too much of a party girl, hanging with worldly friends.

Jehovah would never let me in the new system. Every year past then, I really thought was a bonus, and tried to live every day to the fullest. In 1989, when I married for the second time I still believed the end was coming. I remember being thankful that I now had someone.I wouldn't have to die in the big A alone. I can so relate to the things Derek was saying. He was very brave, and loved life!!!!!! Love every day,EVERY DAY IS A BONUS DAY!!!!!!!!!!

My mom was so much like Edith. It was so easy to pull the wool over her eyes,back when I was a teen. Believes anything. Can be quite amusing sometimes. Explains why she's a JW!!!!!! lol lol lol Can you imagine Edith at the kingdom hall?

yeah i thought the 4-some thing would hook some of you guys in lol!.

she is about 24 and has three other gay jw roommates and has for a few years.

virtually everyone knows they are gay.

Should they really be living together? Whats the differance if a young woman is living with three guys? Two girls two guys? Temptation goes up when your living together, so don't live together! They must like the temptation, or they would figure out that it's not working out. IMO they enjoy their living arrangement very much!!!! Sad that they have to live there lives with fear and guilt, it must be eating them up..... So sad ! They can never be happy being a JW. Never being true to themselves.
