yeah ur right it may be an ego thing, for me i was raised as a jw my dad was at bethel before he married my mom so my whole life has been around witnesses in my area so my non witness friends are few and now many witnesses are not wanting to be freinds so yeah its a mix of emotions

i understand the whole playing their game by writing a letter but i feel as though im still playing thier game by still being tech a "jw" by not being da or dfed we live in the basement apartment of her parents and im not trying give more info so i cant just fade i have tryed .so so frustrating lol i have to try to be positive or i will lose my mind.

thanks i know that had to be hard having ur mom emotional with you esp after 14 years out. what sucks is i have shown the wifey everything and she has more trust in the org than what the bible says. i know many on this site do not believe in the bible but i do and my wife does. that what is crazey if u believe in the bible and someone shows you wt error why would you still trust the org who lies

thanks soledad i have been doing that sorta lol i have been working on this letter for a little over a month i guess i care what a few people think but jws love to think of sexual immorality when it is announced unstopableravens is no longer one of jehovahs witnesses. this would be easier if my wife would allow her eyes to be opened and its going to be hard on my toddler as well.

hi lwt thanks for your comment my situation is very difficult i was ms for many years and when i had came to see the "truth" was not the truth i talked to the elders showed them doctrinal errors of the wt told them i could not with a clean conscience teach lies and i was not going to be a ms or pioneer they did not want me to but i did that was a few years ago . but my wife and family are and my family life is very hard and it coming from the people i want to help to see the ttatt and they all feel the same way is that if this is not what you believe than da yourself. it hard either way i have lost many friends already because i talked to them about questions

i've got a jw at my house right now (unexpectedly) who is talking to my husband.
he keeps on bringing up that only jw's have universal love....that if you go anywhere in the world, you can mention you're a witness & you'll automatically be welcomed and accepted by fellow jw's.

jws will use john 13 verse 35 and say that applies to them ask them to compare that to 1 john 4 :7 which states to have godly love u must be born again or born from god since jw admit they are not born again the bibles type of love does not apply to them.

How to create a new social life
by Wide Awake! ini grew up as a witness, but it's been a few years since i've been to a meeting.. i'm having trouble being social and making new friends.
i've moved away from the town that i grew up in (about 45 minutes away) and, although i'm not df'ed, i've lost track of my old friends after they found out i wasn't attending anymore.
you guys know how it is.. i'm self-employed, extremely introverted, and have kind of isolated myself for a while.
