I have a question for any ex or current elder or co.
by blindnomore in1 how long does the society keep records of publishers diciplinery actions at cong level and at the branch ?.
2 how would you respond to the society's claim that they are not responsible for the criminal actions of the rank and file?.

7 - 10 years unless Child molestation occured or conspiring, lying, etc... 7 years for old publisher cards so "Minimum 5 years ... 20 years is not rare ...." is certainly accurate.

Bluesbrother, Well, I actually have a letter to the congregation with a very ornate letterhead from the 40s and Rutherfords Signature, so I know they sent letters out. I just don;t know how many they usuallysent out or if they provided indexes... and policy statements as much as today?

Wow it just dawned on me that despite all the pdf's we have, no one has ever had access to older B.O.E. letters say from the 60s and back farther??? Atlantis...... now that would be an interesting project if someone actually has some of those and would be willing to give them up....Back on point... Any references or correspondance would be great. I already have all quotes from Index citations.

Big Favor- I want to compile all the older WTLIB CDs
by itsibitsybrainbutbigenoughtosmellarat inseveral have asked about wtlib cds and usually everyone wants the newest available, but i would like the older ones and try a compatibility mode suggested by a jw.net member within windows, to run them.
they have some books and brochures etc... on them that the newer ones don't.
i want them for referance as well as simply a collecting standpoint.
