  They also say that those that never had a chance to hear the message of Jehovah will be 'possibly' saved. But for the most part they teach that anyone that knows about JWdom and rejects it, is automatically deserving of death during the Big A. Rubbish of course & not scriptural but thats what they teach....

  Need help with a shepherding call!

  I need a show of hands: who believes the Bible and to what extent?

  i'll start off.. i don't believe anything is divine about bible writings.

  i believe there may be some marginal history although not much.

  i think alot of folk tales and regional myths are contained in the old testament.

  i woke up today a right grumpy basket case.... not a good day for the jehovah's witness to call on me to do there usual shepherding call, bringing me the usual mags of shite!

  i stood there on the doorstep in my pj's, care free and all fired up.

  i was asked how i was doing & then informed that they had my latest mags.

  Me & Nugget (and our hubbies Cantleave, hairyhegoat ) along with others on this forum (such as Bigmac & Amelia) plus loads of others on this forum, all met up for an Xmas 2010 party at Brighton. We all travelled from all over the place to get there & all our kids loved it !!! Bigmac dressed up as Father Christmas... He played the part very well....

  Sleepingbeauty; were you known as A knowledgeable JW? I ask this question because if you were not, then the witnesses that came to your door should be impress. You can go toe toe with any anointed, elder, pioneer and send them running. I am sure this is A concern , A pattern is taken place. People that are leaving us that we believe was weak are now more knowledgeable about our belief. They are not shaking in thier booths like the old days, hell they will tell us to our face we are full of sh---t. Love it..

  @ Jam - No, I dont think I would have been regarded as a knowledgable JW... so the very fact that I was able to come out with what I did, would have been an eye opener in itself... I'd like to think that the brother would have listened to some of what I said, but it is clear this sister (his wife) was a closed book, by the time we were drawing to a close! I know this brother used to be an elder at one point in time, but had to step down when his daughters fell out of line !!!

  He himself would definately be knowledgable & much of what I said would have hit a raw nerve .... They probably both walked away dusting off there feet & g'rating as they left ....

  I dont like or enjoy upsetting anybodies day, especially when they had clearly given of there time to see me, but the time was right & I'd had enough of pussing footing around... They needed to know the real TRUTH!

  With the way that they treated you Cantleave & Nugget, I decided I no longer wanted to be under the Radar, pretending to be all apathetic & downtrodden.

  I have been dying and just knew it would be them when I heard the doorbell go. I also knew what I was going to say, so I didnt hestitate & just bolted down the stairs to confront them!!!

  I know being on this forum & others too, that my confidence has really grown. This doesnt mean I dont get down in the dumps days because I do, but at least today I can enjoy it all the more, knowing that it is mine & hairyhegoats very own 'Independance Day' along with it being my youngest (of 4 children) 10th Birthday ...

  I wonder how long it will take the WBTS Police to hound us ?? We will DEFINATELY go to the JC. Im Just hope these 2 bluddering JW's grass us up !!! I want round 2

  Why do Jehovah's Witnesses lie to recruits?

  first let me say this.. i have constantly been hearing of the legendary honesty/intergity of the jehovah's witness for some time now.

  i have also been informed that they are the happiest people on the entire earth.. my problem is this:.

  when a jehovah's witness comes to your door and you actually decide to give them a few moments of your time they never give the whole story as to what you would be getting involved with when you join the watchtower.. case in point.

  They dont think that they lie. They just believe in being sparing with giving out the so called Truth & that the longer you are sucked then little by little you will come to know more. By then its too late & your well & truly brainwashed....

  They just dont want a bible student to be given too much information too soon as it would overwhelm them (clearly true!) and they would turn there backs.... so little & often is there moto....
