  which as ray franz said about legalism, also seems to lead to a "morass of inconsistencies".. ray seemingly even went as far as describing "legalism" (or by extension moralism) as apostasy or "a denial of christian faith" (g79 6/8 pp.

  Secret disfellowshipping in Adsense

  i was just reading the thread on the secret disfellowshipping of the menlo park elders.

  obviously the society didn't want the bad press and was hoping to sweep it under the carpet that is why it was secret and the defendants weren't there.

  to me this is not only unfair but totally bizarre and weird.how can some one be disfellowshiped and yet not know that they are disfellowshiped.

  excommunication is "altogether foreign to biblical teachings.".

  it's an unbiblical roman catholic teaching by which "you are looked upon with the blackest contempt... being cursed and damned with the devil and his angels.".

  My Final Goodbye

  i want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.

  i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.

  i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

  While we have never met personally, I know in my heart that if we did, we would be GREAT FRIENDS!

  and friends only wish each other the VERY best!

  To that I give you my best wishes that you are sucessfull for those that can not speak, helpful for those that need it most

  Constructive feedback for AAWA leadership (IMHO)

  1 - reconsider your existence - there might be a reason why the most effective resources to date have been solo efforts.

  2 - recognize that even well-intentioned organizations will firstly seek self-preservation.

  3 - be aware that egos and emotional stupidity have torn apart much grander edifices than aawa.

  Folks, take a deep breath and reread the wonderful statements you are making.

  Amazing how some of you wanted mercy, acknowledgement and support from the groups you used to associate with at the KH's and now the first moment that people ask the same of you...you smell the blood and go for the juglar vein to attack.

  How shameful and haughty some of you have become.

  Have you not learned ANYTHING from the torment of being in the JW cult for so many years? How the judgement was easily cast upon you for mistakes that you may have made, or questions you wanted to ask.

  Now fast forward a few years and your menacing nature wants to "jump down the throats" of those that have take a position of guidance, help and support for the multitudes that truly need it.

  NO ONE IS PERFECT - LOOK IN THE MIRROR!

  YA'ALL need to get a life, and BE ASHAMED for the behaviour you represent.

  I can tell right now from what I read, none of you do anything else but WORSHIP yourselves, you care nothing of the needs of others. If you did have any empathy for others, you would not act this way on this particular board.

  i'll call him bear, like teddy bear because he's big and nice.

  bear's the coboe, an intelligent but jittery man who suffers from a host of anxiety disorders.

  he 'just happened' to be driving down my street after the group, and 'just happened' to notice i was at home, tending to some animals.

  is it me or has that long hair been digitally lengthened?

  the longer portion of his hair doesn't even blend with the hair closest to his roots.

  What the HECK is wrong with you??? Why the Glee in seeing a response to a very serious issue that many folks have WORKED SO HARD on behalf of so many.

  I for one am appaled and ashamed (yes AA) at the the "tongue and cheek" motives some folks have used to create their own fictional personna,

  IT is amazing how folks who have NO LIFE want to create one (and the BIG troubles for others) right here on this Board,

  No one person EVER deserves that.
