i was wondering if someone could help me with a question.. i am a rookie exjw, i only left the organization 4 months ago and everything i've discovered (un/arc/malawi/mexico etc) i've only discovered in the last few months so you can image it's been a huge shock to me especially after after 50 yrs!.
every time i think i've heard everything, something else pops up.. now i've come across a youtube video that mention tv evangelizer jimmy swaggart and the watchtower.
i remember jimmy swaggart from the time i lived in the u.s.a and i remember the scandals with him and prostitutes etc.
The Governing Body claims it hides nothing. It is not a secretive organization. Unfortunately the internet has exposed their lies and deceit.
Any JW that is truly humble, hungry & honest (3 h's) will see the hypocrisy and deceit of the Governing Body.

Faithful men in the Bible practiced:
ADULTERY- Concubines anyone? This is having a mistress today. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and many exemplary o.t. men had more than 1 woman. Oh....I forgot....god changed his standards for the new testament. Taking a MARRIED woman is adultery but not having sex with an unmarried woman. Even the Insight book under adultery and fornication admits that the meaning changed. Today, if a married man has sex with an unmarried woman, he is considered an adulterer although that was not the case in the O.T.
FORNICATION- The o.t. does NOT condemn premarital sex. In the O.T.fornication included bestiality, incest, homosexuality, but NEVER pre-marital sex. The meaning changed over time to include premarital sex. If a married woman was accused by her "husband owner" that she was not a virgin, she was killed. Why no punishment for the man she lost her virginity to? Why no condemnation for Judah for having sex with his widowed daughter in law whom he thought was a prostitute? Why no punishment for Abraham for having sex with the housekeeper after Madam Sara pimped him out? If any of this happened today, they would be considered depraved immoral perverts.
MURDER- O.T. faithful men were murderers. David even cut off the genitals of over 100 men and gave these to King Saul to purchase an extra wife to add to his collection. Samuel killed the king of the Amalekites. Samson another murderer. Oh how things change from the O.T. and the New Testament. Word of an infallible, never changing god?
SLAVERY OWNER- The O.T. allowed you to have slaves for life (unless an Israelite) you could even beat him up and if he didn't die within 3 days, you were off the hook. If you had a male slave and you allowed him to breed with a female slave and had little slaves, you can offer him freedom but his family would be your property forever. The concept of sin in the bible is bullshit!
So when watchtower says you must confess your sins or be destroyed, that is a load of bullshit considering what "god" allowed his faithful servants to do with his approval in the past.

01. Was C.T. Russel guided by the holy spirit when he predicted the end for 1914 and then changed it to 1915?
02. Was C.T. R. Guided by Gods spirit when he taught phrenology and pyramidology?
03. Why did C.T.R. abandon Nelson Barbour over doctrinal dispute, yet no JW today is allowed to do the same as they will be called apostates and mentally diseased and running ahead of Gods chariot?
04. Why was Rutherford allowed to proclaim himself as a "Judge" and advertised as "Judge" Rutherford if JW's tell everyone that they don't accept titles like Reverend or Father? BTW Rutherford was never an official Judge so why did he lie and no one stopped him?
05. Did God guide Rutherford to predict the end of the world for 1918, 1925 & 1941? If not, where did he get those ideas from?
06. Did the WT refund the money donated by their followers for building a mansion in San Diego for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and others? Why on earth would these prophets want to live in San Diego?
07. If JW's are not a cult, why are JW's obligated to accept without question whatever the GB says is truth even though it may change in a couple of weeks?
08. Why is there no mention of the Douglas Walsh 1954 trial where H.D. Covington admits that the Unity of the WT organization is "unity at all cost" even if it means accepting false doctrine? (See transcript) Any JW refusing to accept what the GB says will be df.
09. The brochure "face the facts" Rutherford predicted that Italy, Japan & Germany would win WW2 and conquer America and its allies. Why didn't this come true if Gods spirit directs the Orgnization?
10. How can the GB demand blind obedience from the followers when they have over 130 yrs of false prophecies?
11. Doesn't Deuteronomy 18:20-22 mean anything to JW's?

I clearly remember the night I saw that episode. It was the same night that a smurf starting walking out of the Kingdom Hall and cussing.
On his way out of the Kingdom Hall, a pioneer sister tried to stop the smurf to place a magazine and count her time. When he flipped her off, the pioneer sister said she wasn't afraid as she was the same person that knocked on the door of a serial killer and he didn't harm her because she had 2 angels protecting her. Since this smurf was causing a disruption of the meeting, an elder approached the talking, walking smurf leaving the kingdom hall and offered him a bible study. This elder told the smurf that JW's have the truth because the gameshow Jeopardy had a question about who is the smartest man on earth an the answer was Fred Franz. The same elder also told him about another episode of jeopardy where the question was what is the best bible translation on earth? And the answer was of course the New World Translation. Upon seeing that the smurf didn't want to stay for the rest of the meeting, the elder made an announcement that the smurf is no longer allowed to enter the KH for being mentally diseased and anyone seeing those cartoons will be df.
Everyone lived happily ever after except the smurf of course for rejecting the truth.

Ewart Chitty (a closet homosexual) rises through the ranks of the WT hierarchy to the point of being a member of the Governing Body. Only after several roommates accuse him of innapropriate conduct does he get removed or forced to resign. He was eventually sent back to London branch with no responsibilities only menial tasks. Who or what appointed him? The 79 YB announces his resignation.
Leo K. Greenlees, another homosexual and child molester who rose through the WT hierarchy and became a member of the almighty GB. He molested children (Marco Paolo included). Was forced to resign from the GB and was secretly transferred to a Cong in New Orleans. Who or what appointed him? The GB did not report him to the police and just transferred him and gave him the title of special pioneer until his death. No mention at all about his removal from the GB in the publications.
The WT tells its members they must be obedient and obey the leaders as they are appointed by the Holy Spirit. This keeps members in fear of speaking out against crimes and hypocrisy of their leaders. This is just another lie from the GB to keep members obedient and enslaved to the WT organization.

Deep food for thought. Chuckee should of had "waited on Jehovah" and not "run ahead of his organization" as every JW is reminded in their publications. Also "Jehovah will take care of it in his due time", "leave it in Jehovah's hands" and "where else will you go?" These cliches apply to the average JW but not to C.T. Russell and the self proclaimed Judge who took matters in his own hands to takeover the Watchtower.
The double standards are endless.
