I saw today on a website someone said why would god care about all the abortions that go on in the world when he has killed so many innocent babies himself. He is not there folks.

4 sincere questions for those that believe there is a God
by S EIGHT ingreetings.. allow me to set the questions up.. after 30 years in the truth (i'm now late 40's) and having established the truth about the truth i consider myself agnostic going on atheist.. i struggle to believe there is a god when i observe life yet i try to convince myself there must be something out there.. here's the basis of my question: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-23583116 .
in summary, 2 young boys have been killed by a snake that escaped from a pet store in canada.
it made it's way up through the ventilation into the apartment they were staying in.

You bet I am bitter. I was raised in his crazy cult and didn't find out it was a shame untill I was 57. Every decision I made in my whole life was based on a false premise that Armageddon was coming at any minute. I was devout. Now it is too late. Not only that, I raised my only child in the cult and she is now raising my grandson in it. I can't get them out! At any moment they can decide to shun me as I have told her I think it is BS.
Yes, I hate the Watchtower Society.

Long serving pioneer no longer has hours quota to stay on the list...
by NVR2L8 ina family member visited us this past weekend and said that my 80 years old mother was recently told she no longer has to meet the annual hour quota to remain on the pioneer list.
"what a loving provision from the brothers" were my sister's exact words.
"mom was so stressed out with having to get her hours in every month" are you freaking kidding me?

Yes, this works out for them as they can still boast about the number of pioneers they have without making the older tried and true put in the hours. It's all about the boasting (in Jehovah, of course).

Fading fast children are starting to ask questions, need help.
by Crazyguy inok i have been fading fast, missed a lot of meetings over the past couple of months and the kids think its mostly do to my being busy with work.
this morning was probably the first sunday that i was home and could go but did not.
so my 8 year old asked me if i was going and why when i said no.

Make up an excuse, you have to fix something around the house, you are ex pecting a phone call, you need to take a nap, etc.

THE DC Hotel List
by tresdecu inso tonight finally had to make a decision about the dc.
we missed saturday and sunday of the one we were assigned to.
i was going to convieniently try to forget (been working most saturdays last few months) but she persisted tonight.
