I got tired of hearing someone say "oh, that has changed, haven't you read the latest Watchtower?"

10 Years out of the JW Organization- What I've Learned ( For what it's Worth)
by flipper in10 years ago i stopped attending jehovah's witness meetings for good.
walked out of the kingdom hall cold turkey never to return based on injustices i observed among others and myself at the hands of elders giving out not god's counsel but personal opinions as counsel .
some of them weren't even giving out wt society counsel- just personal opinions.

Ray Franz
by thedog1 inam reading coc at the moment, about half way through.
just finished reading some of the details of what happened in malawi and mexico years ago.
which reminded me that in the early 80's a very well known elder in the country i was then living in went to new york as he had discovered all the discrepencies between what had happened in malawi and in mexico and wanted to know what the gb had to say about it.

The Watchtower Society is racist and there is no doubt about it once you learn of the Mexico-Malawi scandal.

"Bad association spoils useful habits" is what the elders will say if they find out!

How can i continue my fade vs the rubber band theorem that pulls my wife in
by DS211 inim at a crossroads my friends.
im beginning to feel that my oppurtunities to get my wife out are waning.
weve misssed many meetings she still smokes a cig a day.

I agree. She needs to go to the elders and confess that she smokes and when she gets df'd after you tell the elders she has been doing this for quite some time, she will probably fall out all by herself. Getting reinstated is a tough haul and she doesn't sound like she has it in her.

Duck Watchtowercy
by Defianttruth inwith phil robertson getting the boot within a day of his comments by a&e, what would happen if the lbg community started calling all of the venue managers of their convention arenas and exposing them for the hate group they are today?
just a thought.

Let us get back to the point the original poster made.
What if all these venues became aware of what the Watchtower Society says about gays, theblood doctrinrule who witness rule, etc.
They may not let them have the assemblies in theirstadiums, auditoriums, etc! This is a wonderful idea! We need to start writing the places they hold theassemblies and threaten protests and other peaceful demonstrations.

Thoughts on going back, am I the only one that feels this way?
by excaliber inhello everyone, i know you have heard this topic before and your probably thinking.
...not again lol.. but i was wondering if anyone has thought of going back for the same reasons as myself, i don't think its the truth but i searched and my conclusion is that other religions don't have the truth, they are all wrong in my opinion.
if there is no other religion to go too, why leave were i was born and raised.

Oh, yes, yoU will find people who will understand your past and will embrace you. Don't go back to a cult because you feel you won't fit in elsewhere. If you don't really believe JW bullsh!!, it will be revealed in some way, somehow, and it won't turn out well for you.
Leave on your own terms when you control the situation. If you stay, you will probably become romantically involved with someone and that will mess your life up real fast. Consider other options, please.

Jonathan: great news!
QCF: I am very angry alsoATM my wasted life. I spent the foerst 57 years of my life in the cult. I feel better when I warn everyone I can about Jehovah's Witnesses. I never let an opportunityto by without telling everyone I can, everyone, about the shunning, the blood doctrine, and the other BS. No one I work with will ever become a JW I assure you. That makes me feel a bit better.
