  i have to thank tv.jw!!!

  (im not putting the complete link, but you know what i mean).

  after showing my wife the 'trolley song' as we now call it, she was rolling on the floor in embarrassment and shock.. she shook her head, and was clearly troubled by what we watched.. little by little, the org is actually helping more to wake up!

  i was deleted as the cobe after i let my adult child move back home and he admitted that he fornicated under my roof while my wife and i where away on a rbc project.

  of course the elder mode in me kicked him out of the house.. the elders moved quickly to remove me because i was too involved in "theocractic activities", i had neglected my adult son.. i accepted this primarily because i didn't want to serve with a boe that did not want me.

  i was devastated however because it was the only life i knew.

  This would never have been tolerated just a couple of years ago.  Obviously they didn't make this video in secret and the upper ups know about this.  They are wanting desperately to hol on to the young ones.

  took the magazines in the waiting room and dumped them in the trash.

  was a great feeling.

  to think many witnoids wont dare throw out the surplus magazines they have in stacks around the house is amazing.

  3rd Gen DF'd finally writing

  i've been reading many of the postings on this forum for a couplefew years, finally joined today.

  i think reading cappytan, and others like that, compelled me to share, it seems i might have a bit of a different outcome than many i have read, perhaps it will be hopeful/helpful to someone.. i was a born-in, 3rd gen jw, my entire family (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and most all of my childhood friends) were in.

  some dropped by the wayside as the years went on, but many stayed in, and if they didn't, they still acted/talked as if they believed it was "the truth" and it was their weaknesses/failings that made them stop attending.

  out of the blue my wife started to ask me about my feeling about the borg.

  i told her i didn't want to talk about it...she persisted.

  she already knows how i feel, i told her that my biggest beef is that they use mind control, and yep she went in to how i was an apostate and how she doesn't want to be married to an apostate.

  Ouch!  This sure doesn't sound good!  I remember a time when I felt the same exact way your wife does right now.  My husband who was an elder at the time was doubting and I gave him heck over it and it was the beginning oof the end for us.  I am now out, he is still in and remarried to another JW sister.

  i've been an avid bible reader since as early as i can remember.

  i read the bible cover to cover for the first time when i was about 17 years old and have read it at least twice more since then.

  Welcome to the group.  It was nice to hear you love your wife and families as well.  Approach this with that in mind. Think about how you would want to be taught the truth about the truth.  Keeping your family in a dangerous cult is not good.  Be patient and move slowly and gently.

  so i decided to sign up after many years of lurking.

  started researching after finding out about ray franz, which inevitably brought me to this site.. i'm still well and truly inn, but don't want to give any information out, i'm sure you guys know the reasons.. since "jay double you .

  org" came online, there has been a definite sense of hysteria with everyone who is "inn", and i get a feeling it's going to get a whole lot crazier as the years press on.. one point i would like to raise is that i feel, without a doubt, that 2034 is going to be the new finish line.
