  this is in the july 2015 monthly program on tv.jw.org cedars wrote about it too.. starting at around 42:30 in the video, morris talks about the child abuse situation for almost 10 minutes.

  Just found out my older brother has passed away

  i have just found out that my brother (who was one of a bunch that shared this login) has died.. he and his wife were living in another country where they once pioneered.

  i didn't see him that often.. such an empty feeling.....

  Advice Needed - JW Grandparents

  my family has been out (inactive no meeting attendance or field service) for just over two years..

  weve made many changes in our lives, including with our personal appearances (tattoos, piercings etc) that are a pretty obvious sign that we arent going back any time soon.

  our families went through a period of time about a year ago when they made a lot of threats that if we left the truth, they wouldnt even be able to share a meal with us, they would stay loyal to jehovah etc.

  I would talk to my children about "the truth about the truth" from an early age. Warn them about what the JW relatives will say about Armageddon and their use of fear mongering. The children may have to ask the grandparents not to discuss the phsuedo religion with them.

  This site is truly a lifesaver. When I was first out, it reinforced my determination to never return to the Kingdom Hall and that I was doing the rht thing.

  Well, obviously they don't practice what they preach, do they. They have totally whitewashed their history and have removed and edited their past publications to hide the facts about their past.

  I noticed recently that they had an article on their website about how wonderful it was to celebrate 100 years since the Photo Drama of Creation's release. It was shown to millions world wide to years. This movie they say they are so proud of, is not, however, available on jw.org. I logged onto You Tube and found it. It shows Jesus on a cross, they are singing Christmas carols, talking about Job celebrating his children's birthdays, etc. They are a terribly intellectually dishonest organization.

  i was contacted by the witnesses in1965, baptized in that same year at age 15. i was appointed an elder in 1975 and served as an elder for 20 years..

  it hasnt been long since i learn ttatt and when i totally woke up.

  Armageddon in 1975 'probability' or 'possibility'? Irrefutable Proof the Watchtower Said 1975 Was "Game Over!"

  it's hard to know where to put this link to a polish book some of you older members probably read, while our newer members are seeking answers to questions the watchtower vehemently deny's!

  do i put this under "jw scandals" or "jw beliefs"?

  for decades without the internet many of us did not have access to all the publications written by early watchtower writers because access was hard, only men like raymond franz jr(god rest his brave soul) had the golden key for entering the library of all publications jws made.. can some of the older members remember people who sold their homes and others who bought things in the summer or fall of 1974 knowing they won't be paying for their purchases because jehovah will destroy all the creditors records when he kills them!

  We had all kinds of teenagers dropping out of school to pioneer and some cashed in their whole life insurance policies to have cash to live on so they could quit their job and pioneer. That was in St. Louis, MO, USA. I AM 61 years old and remember it well..
