The congregations I went to all my life were just barely able to scrape by We were often told that they needed $ to pay the bills. Keep in mind, these were all predominantly working class white, midwest publishers attending. I will bet a lot of Halls don't donate all that much.

Perhaps one of the workers was hurt and one of these photos sow some violation on Watchtower's part. It has to be some kind of legal reason. Follow the $$$$$.

i am really struggling with this particular situation in my life, and i really need your help to readjust my thinking.

i am recently divorced from my ex-jw husband.

we were both disfellowshipped at around the same time about 2-3years ago.

Your exhusband sounds like a jackass! Put him behind you, where he belongs and move on!!!

soooo...i have recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and am scared out of my mind.

in a weak moment, i called my parents and my mom answered.

i start crying as i tell her about my disease, and this woman says to me:.

How devastating! This religion distorts a mother's love. That is the epitome of evil.

Baby steps taken with a grain of salt

seeing how my jw wife nearly lost it when i woke up to ttatt and was df'd just over a year ago, she has been showing cracks in her armor.. 1. she has stopped pioneering to resume her good-paying career, working full-time.. 2. she suggested marriage counseling.. 3. she suggested going to a latin rap concert at a casino for our anniversary.. 4. when we reconciled recently and began living together as a family again, she agreed to alternate weeks of jw activity with the kids, one week doing the jw thing with her and the next week not doing the jw thing with me .

5. she hasn't had perfect attendance at meetings or for field service since she started working full-time.

just last night, she skipped meeting to help co-workers prepare food for an employee appreciation luncheon held today.

So encouraging! I agree, she is weakening!

just come home from a weight loss class early.

it's 6 months since i da'd and two and a half years since i've been to a meeting.

there was a witness there (unless she has left, i wouldn't know) we made eye contact!
