I would never have believed this if I didn't see it with my own eyes. They are tastefully begging for money. It is all about the money, isn't it. Jehovah, the sovereign lord of the universe, is no longer able tp provide, I guess.

Isn't it amazing that in an eight hour span how much love and support you find here on this so called "apostate" website? The Watchtower lies about its apposers. They lie about everything. Just refuse to meet with them. Tell them you will get back with them when and if you are want to talk. Be firm, don't give them the upper hand. They are not gods servants and you owe them nothing.

The time is near for my families crucification

we have held off on revealing our true names, my dad has held off joining jwn and telling his story because we have been waiting for one special event.

About your grandmother, you never know. My mom, who was a total Governing Body follower immediately saw that this was not the true religion. We showed her the pyramid at Charles Russels grave site and a few choice quotes from "The Fiinished Mystery.". She was well into her eighties at the time, said she was too old to change religions, but at least we woke her up.

(the watchtower, 9/15/1993, p.22) the bible teaches that salvation is through jesus not an earthly organization under heaven.

How many of you followed the WTS direction on education years ago and have been screwed by it?
by Julia Orwell ini'm really interested in this question because i've heard for years that if you forgo further education and go pioneering, when you have a family down the track you will get a good job because jehovah will provide for you because you pioneered.
as long as i was a kool-aid drinker, even then, i thought, "how does pioneering pay your bills?
surely education should come first.

I have 125 IQ and in order to please Jehovah, worked as a cleaning lady for thirty years. I have little saved for retirement and didn't buy a home until 9 years ago because we were told that Armagedon was coming any day now and I would never pay it off anyway. I am 59 yrs old now and will probably have to work until I drop dead.

by cedars intoday i was doing some research for a new article, and i came across the following quote which succeeded in raising my eyebrows.... "the obligation to hate lawlessness also applies to all activity by apostates.
our attitude toward apostates should be that of david, who declared: 'do i not hate those who are intensely hating you, o jehovah, and do i not feel a loathing for those revolting against you?
with a complete hatred i do hate them.

I challenged a Dub out in service

i thought the chances were good she would approach me, and i decided i was going to do more than decline to take the pamphlet.. after i verified she was a jw, i said that i was a former member.
