i know its a year away but i wanted to inquire about the hundred year anniversary of 1914. it would be amazing to have a world wide event reguarding all exjws.

i am nowhere near capable of putting this together but i'd like to propose the largest assembly of exjws ever on october 1st 2014. can it be done?

am i the first to bring this up?

It would be very expensive for everyone to attend if you have it in just one place, since we ex jw's are all over the world. Maybe we can plan a massive publicity campaign, reminding people of the failed prophecies of the Watchtower Society.

What will happen if I say no

i have not been going to the meetings for just over nine months and was wondering what to say when an elder asked am i coming back.

if i say no will i get df'd?

we have not gotton any phonecalls or visits but a text message asking if we are coming back.

This reminds me of my former Kingdom Hall. It was a "critical care" hall, they only cared when it was critical.

Ignore them, they really don't have the time, neither do they care.

we've missed some meetings due to work and thinking it's bs and also one night my husband got drunk n fessed up n had a shepherding call n now the e is coming to see 'how we're doing'.

Me, too. I am lying in bed on my iPad looking at JWN instead of going out to the meeting and field service in my high heels. Feels great.

we are now at #60 -- another contradiction created when the later priestly text was redacted into the earlier yahwist and elohist texts.

the priestly author had a unique narrative chronology and interest in deathm marriage, travel, and settlement notices.
