  if anyone has any unwanted jw books or brochures let me know.

  not really in a position to buy them from you but i could cover postage maybe?

  my jw friend says she'll get me copies of things but never does.. apologies if here was the wrong forum place for this post.. .

  I would love to get my hands on an original edition "Aid" Book! It has stuff in it that the newer versions don't have! It's great reference material to prove that the jws are re-writing their own history.

  Is (a possible) revised NWT prompted by lapsing copyright?

  in the united states i gather that copyright lasts for the lifetime of the author plus 70 years.

  if copyright only lasts for 70 years from publication of anonymous works, then copyright for the nwt of the christian greek scriptures would be due to run out in a few years.

  watchtower leaders probably don't like the idea of others being able to publish hard copies or circulate the nwt in ebook format.

  You really made me laugh, since I have another earlier blogsite I call, “Hey-Which way is up?” which is exactly the purpose of the blog after leaving the jws. The process of leaving is incredibly ungrounding since I had to “unplug” from the entire world that I once knew to be my own. After all, I was "born in." But, I knew that unplugging was the only thing to do --- if I wanted to survive and heal myself from the religious demonization. So, again, thanks for your spot-on comment!

  Technically, the Awake! and Watchtower magazines are not in the same category as other magazines, because of their marketing system. The Watchtower Society marketing process is delegated out to all the members of the religion who "obediently" to go door-to-door peddling those magazines. The religious order spends no money on paying those marketers. All monies collected goes right into supporting the religious order. So when anyone donates money to the peddlers, they are supporting the Jehovah's Witnesses religion. Thought you might be interested.
