There's no god at all. The in bible literature is pure evil. He can stop all suffering now, but he don't want to.

What do you think happens when we die?? Is there a heaven, for instance....
by quellycatface inalways wanted to ask you guys this question..

Death it's not an event of life.
You cannot experience death, so in first person your life have no end.
Like it have no beginning too, or do you remember exactly when you become self conscious? Same thing when your conscience will disappear.
For you, life has no end and no beginning, enjoy the while.
Maybe we get lucky and we can live again, who knows? Our existence is possible, and if the universe is eternal we can exist again.
The subject seems not be part of object world, we can't point to a "thing" in our brain, or even in our minds, and say this is the knower. We identify ourselves with something who knows everything but can't be known.
It's a very strange world, don't expect to be certain of much thing. Always base your views in doubt.

Jesus Protect Me From Your Followers
by suavojr ini am getting tired of all the so called jesus followers that simply want me dead .
w89 9/1 19 remaining organized for survival into the millennium.
"7 only jehovahs witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the supreme organizer, have any scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by satan the devil.".

JW's are christians.
Deny that fact it's the fallacy of no true scotsman.
And christianity and islam are sects from judaism.

Evidently it's a proof. Some scientists have suggested Jehovah is the creator.

What was the most rebellious thing you did while you were a devout jw?
by DuvanMuvan ini was just thinking about how humans being imperfect and satan's influence was the root of everything bad that anyone has ever done.
well i know that apparently everyone is vulnerable which got me thinking about what "bad" things people have done while they were a jw.
i'll start it off.

1st base: kissing
2nd base: boobs
3rd base: groin areas
home base: sex!
I did all of these when I was a Dub.
But I was 21... when normal people have it with 14, 15.
I feel so retarded!

Do any ex JW' s/ God believer's, Agnostics or Atheists believe in Karma? And WHY?
by rip van winkle injust reading a thread and the mention of karma popped up.
( it happens, lol).
a lot of people believe in karma: what goes around comes around.. some months ago, while on another exjw site, karma was mentioned and i thought it a little odd, as they are atheist.

Karma in hinduism is cause and effect.
In buddhism karma means cyclical thought pattern.
It's a kind of vice of mind, you use meditation to be aware of some kind of recurrent thoughts and feelings that come to your mind without your conscious will. The karma can be easily spotted in situations when you react in an automatic way.
The objective of buddhism is to train you mind until you have full control upon your karma. Because the natural manifestation of karma is one of the sources of suffering or insatisfaction.
I do not believe in this, I just accept as an ancient decent psychological explanation.

Atheists, here is a 'balls' question ---even for all---
by prologos init is very difficult to knock a ball into a hole (like golf), throw it into a receiver's hands (american football) intercept it and knock it over the fence (american cricket).
or to put a sattelite at the right time at the right speed in the right direction in the right place to have it orbit another body, so :.
what ingenious natural & process is it, than can get 9+ zillions bodies to get into the right orbit simultaniously or sequentially and have them remain there for billions of years?

So if you think GOOOOD did it, why debate? It's simple, GOD did it (period)
Who will pay my bills? GOD! It's so easy!
Beyond that I only see an attention whore.
P.S. Snare&racket, Cofty and Paralipomenon (among others) are my favourite posters in JWN!

The OP is a shameless "sentient puddle" fallacy.
Imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, 'This is an interesting world I find myself in, an interesting hole I find myself in, fits me rather neatly, doesn't it? In fact, it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!' This is such a powerful idea that as the Sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it's still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything's going to be all right, because this World was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise.
