Watch that women driver comments. Recently here there was a suspicious person call and it turned out to be this guy whose wife was making him walk the 20 miles back to his house. The deputies made some comments about women that their wives heard and they had to sleep elsewhere that night if you know what I mean!!!

on the envelope it says it is from christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses in patterson, ny.
it was a very short 2 paragraph letter:.

I just got a letter from the Dubs today. On the envelope it says it is from Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Patterson, NY. It was a very short 2 paragraph letter:
We received your letter wherein you explain that you have had difficulties with certain individuals in the congregation. You tell us that some have made "catty and rude comments." Because we are not familiar with the circumstances you describe, we are writing to the elders of the West Congregation (city and state deleted), requesting their comments on what you have written.
We pray that Jehovah God will continue imparting to you his spirit and godly wisdom so that you may continue handling all of your affairs in harmony with his will and purpose. We send our warm Christian love.Your brothers,

anyway, this "annointed" person spread this rumor that we were sleeping with the dogs and worshipping their pictures.
i have also read in the awake that the wtbs frowns on pet ownership.

Yeah, I have the 2 books about Isaiah that came out this year and last at the conventions. I read the part about the lame leaping up like a deer, etc. in chapter 35:5,6, and they now are teaching that it is figurative about the condition of the Israelites. Remember all of those inspirational articles about sick and disabled people where they would quote that scripture? They used to teach it as a literal occurence, not it is figurative? Go figure!!!

Kent's Tabloid Journalism = lies??

such headlines skirt the issue but rarely are an accurate representation of the real story.. case in point a headlines such as:.
never marry a jw!

I have read every one of these posts. Kent must be very close to the truth for everyone to be attacking him like they are. I have found that the more voices downgrading someone, the closer to the real truth that someone is. Kent has a very good website and tells the real truth, not some watered down truth or outright lies that some people tell because they are afraid of the Watchtower or some other authority figure.

Women have it bad in the JWs. The elders do try to tell us what to do, how to act and dress, etc. They have tried it with me in the past, but I let them know right quick that they should not pull that with me. I am not going to be submissive to some man that does not own me!!! There were plenty of women in prominent positions in the Bible, just they do not want you to realize that!!! The last time I went to a meeting, I wore nice pants and a nice shirt. This elder's wife came over and told me that she could find me some nice dresses to wear to the meetings. Get real!!! I wear what I have and it is nice. This other sister brought over some incredibly hideously ugly dresses for my mother to wear to meetings, we took them to the local share agency.
