  i remember when i was a jw, drinking a good wine or other liquor was looked down upon.

  it’s better to put that money towards the worldwide work donations i always got told.

  so the best thing i ever got was johnny walker red back then (johnny walker is cheap blend).

  then they revised it took some of those songs out, and added more.

  i have to admit some songs were pretty good.

  Ghosty - we started using the vinyl records to provide the music to sing along to.

  Me and another young geezer used to set the record player to 78 from 33. Sometimes, no one knew the difference because the songs were all crap anyway.

  The music was terrible.....'Laaaaaaaaaaazarussssssss lay sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeping.....'

  Written by talent-less sanctimsistic attention seekers.

  The lyrics were often terrible doggerel with poor rhyming. Some were just a propagandist's dream.

  Absolute depressing filth.

  In case you didn't guess, I hated every single one.

  we used to sing a slow song in the late 60's and early 70's that went something like : "don't be afraid of them that can kill the body buy cannot kill the soul" .... or something like that.does anyone remember that one?.
