  all elders just got letters about this new blood card system .

  “language-coordinating congregations will receive separate parcel(s) containing the revised durable power of attorney for health care (dpa-e) for all congregation(s) in their literature group.“.

  my questions are - why the revision and what has been revised?.

  vintage...not computer viny - I think he added some sort of snort of disgust, saying something like, "As if that will save them". It was the closest thing to Tony Morris blowing out the match that I'd ever seen or heard... and he was looking at "me".

  I've often said that the Elders(tm) who are a bit dim witted and/or part of the elite clique, will reflect the disgusting attitude that filters down from the Governing Body(tm)(Pee be upon them). That's why they are company men(tm). The only difference being, they are not aware that they serve a big corporation that only pretends to be a religion to ensnare the dim witted and vulnerable.

  They don't even call their mockery of the scriptures a 'Bible' on the cover of it. It's called a 'New World(tm) Translation(tm)' because it's just a fake to go along with their fake faith.

  Even when I was an Elder(tm), it was the same clique that did all the talks and prayers. I was seen as a bit of a liability and one of the clique wanted to bang my then wife.

  I was always held at arms length. Lucky if I got to pass the plates.

  Of course all those that you hadn't seen in ages would somehow turn up. I wonder if that's still the case?

  Viny - just as I was about to take the cup of wine from the person sitting to my left, the attendant swooped in and took the cup of wine from the person on my immediate left. He leaned back away from me holding the cup of wine and then handed it to the person who was sitting on my right.

  The absolute arrogance of that act is astonishing.

  And they say that they are not 'masters of your faith'(tm). Absolute filth. But then, what do you expect from company men working for a big corporation that uses a fake religion as a front for money and power grabbing.

  In the grand scheme of things, none of this will make any difference to me and my life. I'm no longer trapped in the big business pretending to be a religion.

  None of this will help me put food on the table or fight illnesses.

  From a curiosity point of view it's mildly interesting. But that's about it for me.

  Today is the 29th.

  Wow. what will I miss?

  Oh, I got it....an austere meeting place with fake solemnity. People shunning Christ by refusing the Chapatis and Robinson's Fruit Shoot that's gone over it's 'best before' date.

  I imagine all the piousness on display.

  the weird routine of the Chapati plate passers, passing the plates then having to sit down and have the plates passed to them. Absolutely nuts.

You prevaricated and tried to muddle the difference between being raised a JW and ‘making your own decision.’ You knew exactly what I was asking but you chose to try to divert. Why?’

  Now that is an amazing thing to ask her. I am suitably impressed.

  She knew why she dillied and dallied, because she was ashamed that she really hadn't researched outside of the fake religion's own propaganda. In fact, I'd say her answer was a stock JW answer.

  How far has Watchtower and the GB of Jehovah's Witnesses gone to stalk and silence critics?

  we have all watched some of the documentaries about the church of scientology hiring detectives to stalk and harass their former members,( their "apostates").

  i have heard of individual cases of rabid jw elders stalking ex-jws, and of course, one would expect some enforcement of corporate copyright infringement on anti-jw websites.. what were the most outrageous jw "stalking" or investigation stories you remember?.

  tonight's 60 minutes into ebay stalking a middle-aged couple who writes a newsletter reminded me a lot of the menlo park congregation watchtower "takeover", closure, and stalking of local elders to mind.

  Blimey. We are dredging the archives recently. I wonder what happened to a lot of these individuals that used to post here? Probably moved on.

  This is a subject I recall and one that helped me on my way out of the disgusting cult.
