  I am Totally Back Now

  two weeks ago i let everybody know we made it safe to our new home.

  what i did not tell you the move was very hard on me.

  i ended up straining my right shoulder so bad i could not even keep my arm up on the key board to type.

  Thanks guy's. My wife pointed out to me on my misspelled word. What can I say part of the wonderful world of ADD. All I do now is laugh it off. I even ask my wife how to spell misspelled, is it two s or one. LOL Anyway thank you all. I don't think I will ever move again I am just getting to old for this. Totally ADD

  Two weeks ago I let everybody know we made it safe to our new home. What I did not tell you the move was very hard on me. I ended up straining my right shoulder so bad I could not even keep my arm up on the key board to type. The pain brought tears to my eye's. With rest and good old asprin and some great acupressure from my wife I am now on the mead. Also my coumputer is up a running now so I can sit reclined out on the futon with the screen on the end table and the wireless key board in my lap. Life is good now. So far got the house all put together now. I am about to start gutting out our bathroom and put in a new tub, toilet, vanity with two sinks and all new tile. This was the only room we have not touch on our past trips to our former vacation home now primary home. So far in the last two weeks not a JW in site. Looking forward to their first visit. I still have not told our former secretary what congregation we will be attending so he can send the cards. I will wait on him to contact me. It is so nice to live 1000 miles from everyone we ever knew in the cult. I have also started to grow a goatee. I may have to get some hair color to darken it. Its all grey and makes me look 20 years older. LOL Both my wife and I got our driver license this last week and for the first time in our lives registered to vote. And we became organ donors. Although we said we want to keep them until we die. LOL To meet new friends I am thinking about joining a bowling league. We see how that works out. I am sure with us starting our new business we will meet many new friends. But for now its a thought. That's it for now. I will be active again now I can type without pain. So see you all later.   hey all, i'm still embroiled in my ongoing debate w/a few jw's and now we're on this tangent where they are saying that jws are the most peaceful and law abiding people in comparison to other religious people.

  i said that's not true, there's been many news articles that detail various crimes committed by jws.

  i couldn't find anything right away when i did a google search, so can someone point me to some threads or links that contain recent and past articles of jw's in trouble w/the law or who have committed crimes?.

  I know back in 05 or 06 I was doing Temp work at bethel and a brother was arrested at Wallkill for picking up boys on the internet. The FBI had ran a sting on the internet and he bit. That was quite a big deal when I was there for that week. Totally ADD

  i am pretty spoilled by facebook and which this site could incorporate some of the things facebook has.. 1. alerts to show you if someone responded in a thread you started or posted on.. 2. spellcheck.

  3. ability to post and share pictures easier.

  4. the easier ability to change your avatar.

  Just want to say thank you for all your encouragement. The house is almost put together. My back is sore and I can't wait until this weekend to rest. As soon as we can we will be a little more active on this site. We are just to tired at the end of the day now. Side note we went from 90's degree weather to 40's for highs and heavy frost in the morning. I wanted cooler weather but this is May. All well I guess I ask for it. LOL Thanks to all. Totally ADD

  Yes we made it. Four cats, two dogs and two humans. The trip was long with only one lay over in Savannah GA when we had a trailer tire blow up on I-95. Destroyed the wheel and fender on the trailer. We had 6 ply tires on it and we got 2 new wheels and 8 ply tires. The cats acted like they travel all the time. The old 22 yr. cat looks better than ever. Us on the other hand are very very tired. The house we moved to now looks like a storage locker. In time we will get it all organize. Now we are at the door step of our new life without the cult pushing us around. We ended up with hughesNet for our internet. It works find but is a little slower than DSL. We have our TV dish in also. Now all we have to do now is get a phone. Thats about it for now just wanted all you kind folks to know we are all right. Totally ADD

  In just a few days Reopened Mind and me will be taking that big trek up to the north country. We have hit very few road blocks in the last months getting ready for our move. Except one. We will not be able to get high speed Internet were we are moving to. What is funny our new neighbors on both sides of us have it but it is not available at our house. The carrier we will have up there have been real butt heads about the whole matter. They even went as far to tell us our neighbors are lying to us about having DSL. Then this phone company started saying our address does not exist. We know for a fact it is a 911 address. We had mail delivered their last year for 3 months. They gave us 3 numbers to call which they told us special reps. would help us solved the problem. All 3 numbers were non working numbers. Then they told us a higher up supervisor would call us in 24 hours to fix the problem. We didn't whole our breath. We never got the call. So now we are looking at satelite internet if we want high speed. We just found someone who will provide dial up. The only problem we have with that is this butt head phone company will have to give us a phone line. If this was your problem what would all you kind folks do? Thanks for listening and all the encouragement you all have been giving us. Hey I know maybe I can hook up string and a tin can to our computer. See you later. Totally ADD
