I hope you get well soon Blondie. I had a very bad torn memscus back in 2010. I had to used a cane to walk because of the pain. In July of that year I had surgery on it and it took 2 months to heal and get back to normal. To this day I can feel if I strain it but so far it's holding. It's funny it got real bad while I was working on a KH on a RBC crew I worked with. That got me out of the RBC and the rest is history. Take care I feel for you it is very painful indeed. Totally ADD

Breastfeeding in Bathrooms...
by cognac inthe natick, ma assemble hall used to have it's own room for breastfeeding mothers.
they changed this room to the accounting room or something like that and now have seats available for breastfeeding inside the bathroom.. there is one other small room available for breastfeeding but they close that off when the baptism is going on.
needless to say, i used to get so pissed off that they actually wanted me to breastfeed in the bathroom that i would threaten to a brother that i would take my boob out in front of everybody and that is there problem because breastfeeding in a bathroom is unsanitary.. one year they put me in some backroom.

Don't you people know you are not suppose to have kids. They get in the way of you going out in service and to meetings. When I was a kid they treated you like a ghost. They did not see you, talk to you and if you didn't move they would walk over you. So be happy you have a plywood walled area to feed your kid always reminding those without kids how bad you are for having kids. As far as breast are concerned, will that something I was told was dirty and good christians don't talk, look or want to touch. If you do have kids thats shows you are having sex. And sex is another bad thing we don't want to do. It's better to be single and spend all your time and money doing WT stuff than having kids that just get in the way of everything. (This was a public annoucement by your anti-kid WT) I feel so bad and sorry for what you wonderful mothers had to go through for this cult. Totally ADD

by Shepherd Book init gives me great pleasure to announce the upcoming release of my new, (non)192-page book, deliverance at hand!
(yep, same title as the 2006 district convention, which i'm sure fulfills some sort of obscure, convoluted prophecy in revelation.

Congraulations on your new book. Got your e-mail and was happy to hear from you. My wife and I are still hanging in there although some things with are grown kids has turn for the worse. But we know this religion is a cult and would never go back. Good title for your book. Take care and I look forward to reading your book. Totally ADD

I say ban FL altogether. It's my way of protest against the new law the FL govt is trying to pass or have that business don't have to give paid sick leave. I lived in FL for many years. FL can care less about their workers and are all for big banks and the big Mouse. Totally ADD

When you talk about Wt. morals remember they are very twisted. For example I remember when I was a teenager and a school mate ask me what I believed. I told him in a nut shell that Jehovah was going to destroy everyone on the earth except JW's because everyone is bad and Jehovah hates them for it. He looked at me in shock and said his chruch taught him to believe that Jesus loves all of us no matter who they are and we should show love to all. As a JW teenager I could not understand fully what he was talking about. Now I understand. He worship a God of love I worship a God of hate. What lisaBObeesa said makes alot of sense to me only because I lived through what she spoke about. As far as morals come for each of us I feel at a certain point in our young lifes we pretty much decide for ourselves what we consider good and bad by what we was taught as children and live by those rules for most of our lifes. Except so many here most likely have modified those morals. As a JW's it was morally wrong to have birthdays, X-mas or going to vote and so on. We changed our moral perspective. So why would we want to stay in a morally twisted reglion one that thinks child abuser can change and keep that subject hush, hush because it will bring reproach on Jehovah's name. When you really look at the conflicting thinking going on in the WT why would we want to be part of that? I know waht you are going through is very, very hard. I hope this will give you something to think about. Totally ADD

Hey DesirousOfChange that was my first elders school also. I remember how dumb this was. They could of sent us all a letter on how to do that instead of 2 long days of listening to one person after another showing us how to use the iindex. Where did you go? I went to Plant City FL assembly hall for mine. Totally ADD

calling all elders - what goes on at the week long elders school?
by not bitter inmy dad is currently attending a week long elders school.
dad is in his 70's and not in great health at the moment so this is adding to my anger that he is having to leave the house at 7am and doesn't return until 6pm and then has to lock himself away to study further in preparation for the next day.. he has also been told he is not to discuss anything about the school with other elders until they have all attended.
what are they learning about that isnt' already out there for all to read anyway.. they can't be learning more bible stuff as the bible is there to be read by the general public so i can only assume that its all top secret stuff that the rest of the congregation can't know about.

Punkofnice sorry to hear about what you are going through. At one time and I am sure you also did think being a elder was righteous thing to do. But as you wake up you are faced with very difficult problems. Should I say something? Do I keep my mouth shut? What about my family? My close friends? What will others think about me? On and on the questions that come up. We all have to do what's best for us. Leaving a cult is a very hard thing to do. If you was a elder, ms or pioneer it makes it even harder. As a born-in it was all I knew and to break down those walls of cult thinking takes alot of time to do. When it comes to family will I think all of us in one way or another are paying the price of leaving this cult. You all argue about how bad elders are or not, yet you forget all of us who has or are still in this cult are victims of a concept. Yes many elders are on a power trip and many was truly there to help. What ever you believe is the case all of us are still suffering from the cult teachings. Totally ADD

The last one I went to was Patterson in 2009. It was mostly trying to convince us the NWT is a good bible translation "which is not". Also from a footnote in NWT in Hebrews they try to convince us the GB is mention in the bilbe and proof there should be a GB. That was one of the most bogus talks I heard. But like what most said same old same old stuff. Very boring. Could not wait until the week was over. I laugh at them telling us not to talk about it. Like it is some big secrete. Just same old bulls--t. It sometimes felt like they was testing us to see if we was what we said we were. Loyal JW's. Totally ADD
