  Hey mamamo you should go to Hellas restaurant at the sponges docks right across from the dolphin fishing boat for your group meeting. Great greek salad and grouper sandwich. Then have some baklava and greek coffee for dessert. Lived in that area for over 33 years. Totally ADD

  for the longest time i was so depressed and lonely although my old lady is a great source of comfort.. i had contemplated going back to meetings etc but then i found this site not long ago and i have found real comfort in each of you although i do not personally know you all.. i have had things revealed to me that i never knew which has changed my life and blondie in particular, her posts are always so balanced and clear and i thank her for them.

  each of you now feels like family to me and i feel a genuine love and concern that is so lacking elsewhere and to each of you "thankyou".. .

  It's my Birthday on Thursday

  i am having my second birthday out of the jws on the 14th of july the first after disfellowshipping and just need a few ideas for the day.

  we went to arudel today to do pre birthday shopping so i am really looking forward to see what goodies they found.

  there was much whispering in the corner of shops.

  or at least that's what my super jw ex-roommate told me when i try to have an adult discussion w her about the importance of a higher education... according to her (a girl that never finished hs because it was not necessary) she has a better education than any college graduate because the jehovah has used the borg literatrash to teach her many many important things.... she says her knowledge of the "truth" is the equivalent of my 4 years of college education..... .

  My wife and I have talked about this many times. What we have always observed is ignorant people out of pride think they are smart because they can read a simple article on a certain subject and understand some very simple point or thought. You put alot of these simple thoughts together even though they may not be related these people come up with the idea they must be really smart. JW education is a education of rote learning only. Which only touches on the surface of any subject. That is why because of cult thinking they have a college education without doing the work. Totally ADD

  watchtower 15th jan 1958 page 62 qfr.. why, after receiving from god the express command to multiply and fill the earth, did adam and eve refrain from carrying out this procreation mandate while they were perfect in the garden of eden?.

  asking this question concerning adam and eve is like trying to meddle in the private affairs of a christian married couple today, and asking why they have had no children as yet.

  jehovah god set no definite time for adam and eve to begin having perfect children to fill the earth.

  I remember a talk about sex with perfect people. According to the WT perfect people will be able to control themselves to were they really don't need sex. Because they are complete within themselves. Whatever that means. So lets say couple wants to have a child then I quess they talk it over and decide they have to have sex to do it. That takes all the foreplay out of it. That's perfect people for you. LOL Totally ADD

  all of us who have any ties to the jws know that they have their own vernacular, their own slang.

  sure, there are formal titles that we can't really get away from: pioneer, ministerial servant, elder, ______ overseer, governing body, the (watchtower) society, etc.

  but there are plenty of other bits of parlance they use that i can do without.... for example:.

  I agree with you Vampire. When I was in as a elder I would tell others the word worldly was wrong to use. Because it was a prejudice viewpoint against ones who were not JW. It would always stop the one I was talking to in their tracks. They would think about it and usually agree with me. Even then I was unconsciously questioning this cult. Totally ADD

  I agree with tmo 1965 Please and I mean Please call suicide hot line or go to the hosptial now. This is nothing to fool around with. We all need you. Don't let the cult bastards win. Many of us have been there and have won the battle but only with support of friends and professional help. Please listen to all these good people. It just takes one phone call, no judgement just understanding ones willing to listen and help you. You are worth it. Totally ADD
