No more judicial committee if maybe suicidal

absolutely no jd if there is a suspicion of suicidal thoughts.. this is obviously due to the high number of suicidal attempts after the announcement that someone is no longer a jw and the shunning that accompanied it.. so what will happen now going forward if situations arise where there would formerly have been a jd and they say there is suicidal thoughts?.
i can’t see it working, but elders stick rigidly to what it says in the book.

I agree. I really think WT has mixed feelings now on DF/Shunning. They SO want to stop the apostate information by silencing dissenters, BUT DF/Shunning is causing them legal issues all around the globe and even putting their religion & tax exempt status at risk in some places.
With the No JD policy they can just verbally circulate that so-and-so is no longer a JW which leaves nothing in print and nothing publicly stated. But the result will be mostly the same. Sheeple will follow and continue to drink their KoolAid.

There must be a lot of issues like this for WT to justify production of this video. And, I'd say they have lost many of their "best" elders (ie, "smartest" elders who made decisions such as seeking out higher education for their children) or else there would not be the need to provide videos for most of the meeting content today. Most Congs just do not have competent elders.
