Vidiot when one of my kids got into trouble I told them that if you think I will be shunning my child, you can sod off. Disfellowship me. It turned out to be a private reproof. Every part of my being told me that it would be wrong to treat my kid that way.

quite a while back, a brother turned up at my last congregation, he came to a few meetings and then i didn't see him for several weeks, and all of a sudden comes the announcement, he got df'd.

O.K. friends I have question to ask. I suffered with horrific nightmares for along time. I`m talking years. They usually were about animals hurting me. Crocs, bears but mostly Great White sharks. One I remember, I was standing on a rock in the sea & the water was to my waist & a great white swam towards me huge fin & opened it`s enormous mouth & bit into me. It was so real that I woke up terrified. Got myself a book, A-Z dream dictionary, started writing them down in the mornings, because I could remember every detail. Anyway I studied about why we dream & learnt that they are all part of a healing process, I`m talking psychologically here. That we shouldn't try to hinder them but let them take their cause . Which I did , I wrote it all down & then researched the subject matter, & began to understand what my sub-conscience was telling me. All things play a part, colours, numbers, people, places etc. You get the picture. Interestingly the longer I`ve stayed away from JWs the nightmares are almost none-existent, so not afraid to go to sleep. Question is this: Has anybody else had this experience or is it just me that's NUTS. SABIN.

the wtbts is hoping you will consider yourself an invalid complainant, because you are not or were not.....baptised.
if you were abused at a young age and you told on your dad or the bad man that did it.......you would have been taken aside by the overseer and read scriptures about lying and being immoral; even if you didn't know what that word meant.

by dubstepped inmy wife and i planned on fading but the elders now want a shepherding call and we are just done.
i know that many play the game to try to stay in, but i'm not a game player and neither is my wife.
our families already shun us because we reached out to a disfellowshipped family member.

Hey you gorgeous people, I`m back. Spilled it all to the elderly sis. well she was horrified funny enough not with me but with org. Still she may go report me, but oh well being treated like shit any way. She`s in her 80`s no family in or outside JW`s & no-one bothers to visit her. No shepherding call for years. Typical, anyway she knows nothing about bout the royal commission or how extreme their policies are on D. She said well I must be an apostate 2. I reckon 75% of J dubs don't agree with the crap teachings. What does you think? -

Saturday, Elders response to Royal Commission

i have my reasons for not turning them away at the moment, at least, not until the completion of the rc.. i asked him about his thoughts on the rc.
he said that he thought it was easy and nothing to worry about.

Mandatory reporting of Child sexual abuse and the failure to report when it`s not mandatory.
by smiddy inthe jehovah`s witnesses are on record as saying they obey the law in reporting child sex abuse when it is mandatory in the state or territory where it occurred .. in other words where it is not mandatory they do not report such abuse.. they will only do so if the law of the land requires them to do so.. where is the duty of care ,the protection of the victim ,the support ,and the legal protection , he or she would get from the government sponsored systems in place to protect such victims.. they obviously do not have the victims welfare as a first priority , if they did they would report it to the relevant departments of concern as soon as they became aware of such abuse , but they do not.regardless of whether it was mandatory or not.. it obviously has to do with protecting their perceived image of themselves in the community of not having a problem with child sex abuse.. as has been stated many times : "you " / " we" do not want to drag jehovah`s name through the mud".
and as the" royal commission " focusing on jehovah`s witnesses is demonstrating , children`s welfare are not being met.. smiddy.

The thing is if a kid went to the elders & said my next door neighbour is touching me & he isn't a JW what would they tell them to do? I get it its a brother, if your brother came to you, you MAY advise him to get a lawyer in place because he`s your brother right, which I guess that is what they are trying to get across. BUT we are talking about a child here & in some cases many kids. One elder I know about molested 17 girls or at least that was the last count. They have absolutely nothing in place to protect them from further harm or support at the time or years down the line. That is why they have such a high suicide rate. Shepard the flock of God book then condems them further if they fail in their attempt. Leading them down a road of further self destruction. My God they have no mercy. What on earth are they thinking, Jesus isn't going to pat them on the back is he.
