I know I`ve put this out there before but I want to put it in a different context & see what you think. I`ve shunned my parents for 20 years (farther, step-mother) because they victimized me every day of my life as a child, believe me when I tell you that writing this , is unbelievable hard, it is making me shake & cry to be pulling up the memories. All of what happened I could have forgiven, but one thing. When they started to treat my children the same way, then I walked, have never looked back, will never go, back, don't wont any inheritance as I feel this would be tainted. Had a nervous breakdown, suffered with PTSD, the stress at one point was so bad that I kept passing out having seizures where my brain was trying to cope with lack of sleep & anxiety. Until 8 months ago my partner came home & found me almost dead from an overdose. I was an enigma to the hospital how I survived. When I woke up in ICU the first words that came out of my mouth was, "I don't want to go to the assembly" now I`m bad association, semi shunned. You have become my friends as I start to rebuild my life. So shunning verses victimization, you see why there is a difference, a good side & a bad side, one that protects & one that tears down. Are JW protecting Gods congregation or tearing some-ones life apart. Please be honest, I would like to hear the truth.

they are asking for kids ice-cream money so they can send their monkeys to uni to get them off child abuse cases, while telling the ones giving the money not to get a higher education.

Are Witnesses Allowed to Read Bible by itself

anyway, i heard a former witness being interviewed the other day that said the witnesses were now being highly discouraged to read the bible by itself (without wt literature) on their own.
this seems over the top even for the witnesses.

Nitty-Gritty why do you keep missing the point. Don't you get it, it`s more than just numbers. They LIED! for gods sake woman, they told all of us that these wicked men would NEVER hold privileges in the org. That's why so many parents trusted the elders, pioneers, MS. Don't you think if they had known the truth they would have been more alert. They say their representatives of Jehovah, who cannot lie. This isn't a mistake its deliberate, they knew. The kingdom of God belongs to these one`s. To the children & they have knowingly put them in danger. Everyone of those men put in the witness box had only one concern. PROTECTING THE ORG, not Jehovahs name & not the kids. GET IT. -

Steve2, Thank you. However I`m not D`s, & have been a JWs most of my life. I do however have a brain of my own that work`s in conjunction with a heart. When some one is in trauma from things that have happened to them in the truth, they can suffer with diagnosable psychological disorders, such as depression, anxiety & post-traumatic stress. These are disruptive to a persons life, the victim may develop symptoms like withdrawal, nightmares & avoidance behaviour. So you see it is not necessarily in their hands. The WTBTS by their own admission knows that most people in this situation being D`s come back not for love of God but because they are lonely & afraid, having no life skill`s outside the org & no friends being that they weren't allowed them. O.K." If you repent, beg forgiveness we will warmly welcome you back, It`s in your hands. Well we all know that when God made man, he didn't give him enough blood. That is why he is incapable of using his brain & cock at the same time. So I can only assume that when you wrote that comment you were jerking off.

by cofty inall jws on the stand have stuck to the same line that they have no problem with cooperating with mandatory reporting when state law requires it.. if the law does not require it then bible principles absolutely prevent them from taking away rights of the victim to report abuse to the police or not.. we have already heard from a jw rep a couple of days ago who proudly asserted that when the law conflicts with bible principle they will always obey the bible and quoted acts 5:29 "we must obey god rather than men".. please join the dots!.
