Darknight, you mention that she holds on to the hope of the resurrection in the hope of seeing your Babies again. If this is the case I would go slow, don't take everything away at once. You could keep Jah/Jesus/bilble in place for the moment & just get her away from the borg. To take it all away at once could cause depression & that is the last thing you want. She needs to be happy in leaving or there's a chance she'll end up going back. I agree with Zoo's on this. Exiting JW cult. (Bonnie Zieman) is an excellent choice as well especially for a woman, & it's not a big read 168pg. Big Hug for you both.

No matter how pleasant, how enticing, wicked things are to the fallen flesh, we must ABOUR them, even as the apostle command's (Rom.12:9) More that that, we want to HATE those who wilfully show themselves HATERS of Jehovah, & HATERS of what is good. As David expressed it "Do I not HATE those who are intensely HATING you, O Jehovah, and do I not feel a LOATHING for those revolting against you? With a complete HATERED I do HATE them. They have become to me real ENEMIS. (Ps. 139:21,22) We HATE them, not in the sense of wanting to do them harm or wishing them harm but in the sense of avoiding them as we would POISON or a POISONOUS SNAKE, for they can poison us spiritually. That is why we are warned, "Do not be misled, bad associations spoil useful habit's"- 1 Cor. 15: 33.
And let it be noted that this staying clean from WICKED persons applies not just to persons whom we may happen to meet or be thrown together with in our everyday affairs of life but also to those whom we choose to associate when it comes to entertainment.
Can you feel the LOVE jumping off the page at you. Now we all know what we are, SNAKES, that must mean that when we see them out or they come to our homes they should expect us to tell them to HISS OFF. Man I wish I could learn to be this loving, I'm sure glad they follow the behaviour of Jesus, he must be so proud of them. Are baptisms under the age of 18 valid? Can one baptised/dedicated prior actually be dfed according to law?

i wonder if for all of those who were baptized prior to the age of 18, if the wt/elders could be forced on our insistence that our dedication/baptism as a minor was made without proper mental capacity and that it be declared invalid, henceforth having never been baptized then family,etc, would be free in wt's eyes to treat as any non-jw vs shunning as an ex-jw.

Yes Matt2414, we were only discussing this last night, they could potentially be accused of supporting a world wide paedophile ring. What is it nearly 24'000 on their records & you can bet your cotton socks there's elder's, MS, Pioneer's & many other's that are still holding their positions within the congregation. I just don't get why they wont help the authorities if they care about the children, what the hell are they hiding? They have to be hiding something, it just doesn't add up.
As far as the so called baptism the second question say's "Do you understand that your dedication & baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's witnesses In association with God's spirit-directed organization"? Well are they God's spirit directed org? NO. So your baptism is meaningless. It's only them jumping up & down about it. Which just adds to the prove that they are a cult.
Should they baptize minors & then hold them with threat's of shunning, death threat's of dying at Armageddon, Guilt tripping them, taking away their freedom of an education, friendship's. All I see them doing is proving over & over again that they are a cult.

They lie the minuet they speak on the ministry, do they tell the householder they will be going around the corner & writing down everything about them without their knowledge or consent. Do they say they will be sharing that info with others, or going over their note's later to find out what mags & scriptures they can use to gain their trust through common ground. Do they explain to the householder that they are actually there to try to recruit into their cult & tell them "however we must let you know that once in you can never leave, if you do you will be psychologically tortured for life through our shunning policy's". Do they F....k.. I believe this is called lying by omission. You always know when a JW is lying to you cause words come out of their mouth. -

Mind control, if you didn't think like a jw at times you wouldn't put up a fight to not think like them, you wouldn't be bothered by what they say or do, you would just get on with your life, you wouldn't be on this web site feeling the need to answer this question. I think it takes courage to get away from them & hard work to deprogram your mind of all the crap & loaded language. Lets face it someone coming on this site who has never been a jw would struggle to know what we were talking about, DO, CO, SP, RP, circuit ass, district ass. Dwain that sounds pretty spot on to me. Where I am there have been a lot of younger men appointed as elders BUT that's a big BUT they have been either weak & easily manipulated (like one I can think of who has already had a break down & his 4th child, all under 8) or they are power hungry. The weak ones are kinder people but are gutless when it comes to doing the right thing. How sad for these young men who will not only lose ttheir own identities but also valuable time with their families. More children to suffer. -

I think they will bring in a new type of pioneer. Your'll have the RP 70 hours, AuxP 50 hours & then the something like MiniP 30 hours. & every-one will say "oh how loving of the brothers to think of those who have always wanted to pioneer but couldn't quite manage the 50". The Borg will come out looking like gods. It will only be those that question it that will see it any different.
As for donations, most RP are in debt for 1000's. Stay out of debt, but pioneer. contradiction or what.

"Friends" are gone

lots of acquaintances and associates but 2 or 3 i would consider my true friends.
that list is now 0. yup, once i told them i no longer believe in the org and haven't for a long time, and their attempts to encourage me thru jw lingo and terminologies to "rely on jehovah" and not to "stray away" failed that was pretty much it.

Beautifulmind Mind control a, it's amazing when you leave how these so called Christians can just switch off to you, they are like emotionally dead, oh well that's you done & leave. I got my husband to thank God. The thing is it takes time to make new friends cause you have been so programmed not to mix with people outside, but at least you can breath without feeling guilty. Keep your pecker up you can only go up the ladder when your at the bottom.
