  Is this a BEAUTIFUL STORY--or what?

  is this a beautiful story, or what?.

  act one________.

  now in an ordinary romance of the golden hollywood era, the boy goes off to war while the young lady waits nervously for his safe return.in a cary grant, debra kerr movie, the two vow to meet after a certain period of time and tragic circumstances intervene.. in my story, the young man is a conscientious objector who goes to prison instead of off to the vietnam war.

  with all the evidence stacked against them on child abuse issues, why do you think they are still refusing to play ball with the authorities?

  why not put their hands up & say "we got a problem, we need help to change our medieval policies, we need advise on how to conduct our affairs in away that is in the victims best interests".. do you think that it is blatant, selfish pride.

  the risk of losing money & struggling as a consequence, or they truly believe that jehovah is protecting them & by admitting they have acted in this inconceivable way would bring reproach on his name?.

  They will tell all the rank & file JW's that Jehovah is protecting them (his org) & they will all believe it. I don't know why anybody would find this surprising anymore they are so corrupt. When most people see the $ sign all morals go out of the window. Destroying documents, HA they have been doing that for years there is no way they will ever hold their hands up to any kind of responsibility for the crimes they commit. Snakes in suits. Lets hope any elders who are even mildly decent will not only keep records but will also try to obtain others & pass them on anonymously to the authorities.

  was geniously created by the w.t leadership, when they shifted the idea of the coming of gods kingdom, to the idea that gods kingdom is already being represented by their " visible organisation" on earth today.

  but as the totlitarian " ark" of the w.t crashes, many in the w.t, particularly those at bethel will now look through the w.t "looking-glass" and no-longer see that "paradise" already existing on earth today.. when this happens, a person should decide to look clearly through a different sort of looking glass.

  here is what i discoverd when i looked through my very own "looking glass":-.

  but as i move into my early 50's i find i'm more and more comfortable in my thick, leathery hide.. please get it into your thick skull's that i don't insult or make snarky comments with the intent of hurting anyone's feelings.

  that being said, if your precious feelings are hurt it's probably your fault for being a prissy, over sensitive drama queen who can't defend his argument.. i do actually love you all, it's just that most of the time you spineless pussies really get on my nerves!.

  Are Jehovah's Witnesses marriages even legit?

  i ask this because of the circumstances behind why they get married and who they get married by.

  i know people say that they are really in love, they love jehovah, etc, but are these marriages even legit.

  i've talked to older jw's sister who are now widowed, some of them say that they were trapped in a marriages.

  BerryGerry, that is a good point that you bring up about the 3 cord. The other one is that they say "only marry in the Lord". That's Jesus isn't it, not JW's. So as long as your potential mate believes in the Lord Jesus & is working towards his example I don't see what the hell they are banging on about. At the end of the day it's just another controlling method they use.
