Khaleesi, it is so nice to have you join us. WoW! what a 1st thread you`ve written here. 1st I`d like to say you are very brave to speak of such a personal issue & I think alittle anxious yourself. To be truthful I believe you maybe blowing this a little out of proportion, 80% of married women don't have a fulfilling sex life & the average couple have sex once a month, so the fact that you are getting it 2-4 times is way above the average. Also you mentioned at the beginning that he was having trouble finding a job, this can have a real devastating effect on a mans self- confidence most men are wired with a need to provide for their spouse especially if they have grown up with old fashioned principles when they feel that they are not doing this in a satisfactory way( in a way they are happy with) then yes it absolutely can have a profound impact on their bedroom performance & in other areas of intimacy. Calm yourself down, most men would never dream of going to the doctor`s to talk bout this, he will, sounds like you got a good man there don't be so quick to throw it away. You talked to his MUM about his inability to perform, I`m sorry but I have to say it THAT IS WRONG, put yourself in his shoe`s, how would you feel if your dad came to you & said "so your husband tell`s me you don't orgasm during sex, well my girl you better do something about that God say`s you should". I`m not meaning to be a cow, I just want you to see it from another perspective, HIS. Also you may need to look at your own issues here, you said you were in a abusive marriage 1st time round, so I`m guessing you are alittle insecure right. Sometimes us girls when we`ve been shown WRONGLY that we are not loveable we find it easy to shower some-one with love but cant quite except that they love us back just the way we are. So intimacy & sex becomes our way of allowing our man to love us back, & we need a lot of loving to make up for all the love we imagine we are missing out on. I don't know if this is hitting the spot, if it is then I would say it`s 6 of 1 & half a dozen of the other. The thing is you can work it out together if YOU BOTH want to. Your marriage the 1st time was not nice your second can be great, however I promise you it will not be perfect. Hope this help`s. SABIN.

knock knock
by Sabin inif jw`s come knocking at your door, do you open it & engage in conversation, tell them to sod off, or just not answer the door?.
my husband`s has asked me not to answer the door to them if he isn't here?
he hate`s the fact that they make a point of calling when they know he will be at work.

What other Shenanigans can we expect to see in the next 2 years?
by John Aquila inits been a little over 2 years since i left the watchtower.
in that time the magazines have been cut, the birth of jwtv, jw-org.
carts for preaching, removed district overseers, cut assemblies, demand all the money from the congregations, stop construction and layoff bethelites, change the format of the tmschool .

I`m mortified. Oh well, I suppose it`s safe to say that they will do what ever it take`s to get more money & more control. I think the Disfellowshipping will become worse. "Not even saying a greeting, NO NOT TO EVEN LOOK AT THEM". It works, every body is scared. I think Island summed it up beautifully, in his post. I also think there will be some sort of thing to do with the apple company, if you notice on all the D.V.D`s or pic`s it is all apple ipad, the most expensive, they got big shares with them & I understand that everything is inhouse with apple. All the wealthier have them here including their kid`s 2yrs up, every one of the family members even the oldies are being forced down that path. Not me I love books. It`s not the same looking at a screen. I also think because they have encouraged it they are gonna have bigger problems with the youth then they can even imagine. Lot of the oldies will get lost & forgotten about. They may start charging them for funeral costs maybe weddings to, say for the electrics. -

John Aquila, or anybody really, when I was younger (in the good old days) I used to volunteer at every assembly serving teas & coffee, everyone used to buy tickets at the congregation from the elders, Like $1 = 1 ticket, & so 2 tickets gets you a coffee. I remember 100`s of those tickets going through my hands. Do you think that they were making a profit out of that, charging more for the tickets than was necessary? only there was no choice, no ticket no drink. I remember we all thought how wonderful it was that these things were all being taken care of before hand but now I think about it what difference would it have made, 2 tickets or $2. they were ripping us off weren't they?

JW Sister: raped, pregnant what does she do?, abortion or adoption?
by Olivia Wilde inthis question came out frequently from a situation known to some of us who knew of 2 cases.... if a single or married sister gets rapped by stranger or incest, a pregnancy results, she is not allowed to have an abortion but neither is she allowed to give it up for adoption?...i always question why not up for adoption?...
no you will be blood guilty because the child won't be raised in the "truth"... hmmmmm does anyone heard of that?
is it a matter of consciousness?

This unfortunately does happen, there are women who bring up the child & somehow manage in their hearts to never hold the child accountable which i personally find amazing. I would never make a judgment on a woman in this situation & neither should the WT or elders or anyone else in a cong. The thing is when your pregnant your a parent, if you miscarry/abort/adopt/ or keep that fact doesn't go away. Special counselling is needed in a situation like rape & those bloody arrogant elders should keep their f....ing opinions to themselves. The decision must be the mothers, she will have already experienced loss of power from the rape it would be a disaster to push her in the direction you think she should go in. Of corse as far as the WTBTS go you must do as the insist or else pay the price, black/white no feelings come into it at all. I said it before i`ll say it again BASTARDS! -

"New Light never contradicts Old Light, but simply adds to it"
by stuckinarut2 indoes anyone remember this classic quote from a society publication??.
i remember it has been quoted many times, but i cant find the reference.. if this comment is to be taken literally, it condemns the organization anytime there has been a complete changes in teachings and doctrine!

Give Blood!
by Laika inlooking for a way to stick two fingers up to the watchtower and do something useful?.
well, ever considered giving blood?
if you're eligible to do so i would encourage everyone here to go for it, the world needs more blood donors, it's always nice to help out and given our history i find there's something very enjoyable about it.

Child Discipline, new article to address Jackson's Royal Commission testimony
by jwfacts ini have published a new article at watchtower corporal punishment, as a response to the testimony that geoff jackson gave at the royal commission.
it includes the relevant part of the transcript, along with a string of watchtower quotes to show that what he presented was not accurate, and that watchtower translates rod as a literal implement to hit children with.

Yes I get the point you are making & you are right. Thank you for taking the time to clarify it for me. Of cause they are able to change their ideas & teachings but ONLY when it suits them.
