I went and I am so glad I did. It was lovely to be there and my daughter came along too. First time for her in the hall. She was surprised there were so many people there and found everyone very warm and welcoming.

YoYO Mama a Hypocrite?

one of the most interesting thing that seems to happen to a loyal jw who comes onto a site like this is that by default they become hypocrites.. now for many of us we were at least willing to "concede" that we were hypocrites for being here, but then you go those "others" who just can't admit it about themselves>.

i thought this post by yoyo mama is very interesting as he resoundly dogs a person, yet this poster does the very thing that he condemns.

only a jw could do this and think everything is ok:.

Wish that you posted on the other ex-jw board at network 54 as some can be so rude and insulting, they have no respect for anyone who may still have JW beliefs.

Are you a witness Yo Yo or an ex-witness? I am surprised to see that there are witnesses on here, I thought it was unusual for me to be on here even as I am an ex-witness who has started to attend meetings again.

the situation in oregon is a terrible tragedy.

the watchtowers policy on shunning likely contributed to the tragedy, it may have even been a primary factor but there are any number of other factors that could have contributed as well - too many to even mention!.
