The WT Lawyer seemed to be scrambling to prevent certain documents being released. However the RC deemed they were worthy of publication. He has given WT a few days to put together a reason why they shouldn't be made available.

RC: an emotional trigger?

for me, it's stirring up all the emotions of what it felt like dealing with assholes like this.

Good question sparrowdown. I am finding this experience liberating but yes, the memories can be quite haunting. My Mom become a witness in 1968 & so all our family suffered with 75 syndrome. Over the years I experienced a number of Judicial Committee's, 1 disfellowshipping, a reinstatement & then later disassociated myself when I could not answer the Regular Pioneer question which asked: 'Do you believe Jehovah's Organization is God's sole channel of communication on earth?' My ex-wife & mother of our child went through the same 'end of the world syndrome' & later committed suicide. I am sure many ex JW's know of friends & family that committed suicide due to the psychological abuse that we've all suffered. And that is another issue I would like them to account for. Psychological abuse & mental distress. Maybe we can start a 'class action' against the Organisation? I would love to employ the services of Angus Stewart to lead this. Looking forward to the remainder of this Royal Commission.

Peter McClellan is saying the the Governing Body is responsible for the way processes are followed. WT Lawyer argues the point. His Honor puts him on notice! His Honor wants one of the GB to appear & mentions that Geoffry Jackson may be called!

Rodney seems a little more polished than the previous witnesses. Will be interesting to see how he holds up after some hours intense questioning.

Baker misses opertunity re no part of this world

why did disfellowshipped ex elder baker not explain why the elders have not informed themselves about the royal commission ?

mr stewart gave him the opertunity to explain the "no part of this world" doctrine, he merely expressed surprise that they had not informed themselves as if it were a personal foible of those particular elders.

it would have been a great opertunity to express disgust at the distain and uncaring attitude the society exhibits toward its worldly neighbours, i also believe him to be out of date re superior authority doctrine ..giving creedence to the lie the jw's are good and productive members of society.
