  i started to call this thread "porno" or something like that -- to get attention -- but since i don't know exactly what porno is, i thought i'd get down to the nitty gritty with the title.. here's the deal: i like looking at pics and/or live video or, if i'm lucky (or out of town) real live females who have no clothes on.

  it's not something i do all the time, but when the mood strikes.... okay.

  now, before i go any fu'tha, let me 'splain something.... i'm the type of guy that likes natural thangs.

  Hi Teejay!

  I learned that males humans were animals a longgggg time ago when I was in Jr. High school. There was a stairway in the school that was "famous" - and the smart girls learned to walk on the side of the stairs that was against the wall, NOT the side near the railing.

  There were BOYS underneath who spent god-knows how much time hanging around pretending to be "hanging around" because they were occasionally rewarded with a micro-second glimpse of an unknowing girl's panties as she came down the stairs on the railing side. (This was back when we couldn't wear pants to school yet! Dresses only!)

  Those boys LIVED for those moments, it seemed.... LOL

  Xena and Spaznik said a lot that I relate to. My mate is very aroused by certain visual, uh, stuff... he has shown me a few things, but his intentions were 'pure' - wants me to know what turns him on, etc. He has never caused ME to feel slighted, insulted, ugly, inferior, or anything other than I am his true love

  I think when women are helped their mate to feel secure - by reassuring them of their love, desire, and faithfulness, and NOT giving them cause to feel threatened or neglected or unattractive, most women would not need to make an issue of stuff like pornography or a reflexive jaw-drop when a gorgeous barbie doll walks by.

  If females feel unloved, threatened, insecure, and the like, they will have "issues" with just about anything available, simply because they are hurting.

  Remember last April when you posted something about toilet seat- up or downs and I went ballistic on ya? (I AM sorry about that Teejay ... we were moving, living out of our car for ten days, my access to internet was sporatic, I was hungry, angry, lonely and tired and DEFINITELY wanted a few hours in a decent bathtub). Anyway, the statements contained in that thread were - uh - definitely reasoned, but underneath them, the spirit behind them was "you are such a whining neurotic cow, and I can barely stand being around you... "

  would not have to be a nagging bitch, always complaining and finding fault, desperately maneuvering for SOME kind of compliment (or attention, even) IF both parties took a "communications .000000101 class" and could speak directly to their needs and feelings. OK me shut up now.

  I hope you will accept my apology for being - um quite direct back then because I miss you, even if you want to look at naked women....!!!

  didn't really know which section of the forums to post this in, so i stuck it in "friends"!.

  the article linked at the bottom of this post makes some interesting points - according to a study, only .003% of our data isn't stored on some form of computer today.. needless to say, this is a somewhat disturbing statement.

  having had loads of experience with computing hardware, one eventually realizes that most of the hardware out there is actually rather unreliable - hard drives, for instance.

  after examining dozens of watch tower society (wts) predictions we failed to find a single one that was right.

  It's THE JOURNEY that counts!!!

  At one point when I was still active I allowed myself to realize that virtually EVERY SINGLE person in the "truth" that I'd EVER known was waiting to die.

  Their lives - their day-to-day everyday stuff - consisted of enduring. Most of their suffering could have been instantly ameliorated or prevented if they'd actually tried to seek relief; unfortunately, they wouldn't even consider such a thing because it would have broken some talmudic edict or tradition among other jw's.

  Also, it seemed to me that if someone was actually happy or successfully enjoying their careers, marriages, health... or were engaging in things to grow mentally, physically or intellectually, WELL! What about putting the 'kingdom first'? HAPPY people were SUSPECT. "This" life is SUPPOSED to be horrible. Martyrs were ADMIRED.

  I was asked by an elder this same question when I expressed doubts about the organization - 'where else is there to go...?' I said I did not know, but I knew ENOUGH to know that something is NOT RIGHT about those guys in New York and if there WAS a TRUE way to worship, I would look for it elsewhere. The quality of my life in every respect immedately improved to such a degree that I'm still astonished.

  I could never get a sound explanation for the 'toasting' -ban. Finally someone said,

  "well, it's to protect us against ever accidentally agreeing to things like 'here's to England' or 'God save the Queen'"

  Kinda sounded to me at the time like the Talmudic-like way of not breaking the first commandment by simply making it verboten to ever utter the name of God, but being the nodding-head compliant one I was, I just said "oh... okay"

  calling all dubbies in the middle atlantic states unlucky enough to have been assigned to the annual sauna in philly july 11-13.. as the u.s, northeast bakes in sweltering heat and debilitating humidity, what greater first-hand evidence can you find of bethel's callous indifference to your well-being than their persistence in scheduling these pointless hum-drum events in such a notorious blast-furnace environment as vets stadium, when just across the street, at the spectrum, and in countless other venues, air-conditioned auditoriums are readily available to them?

  I can't believe they're still forcing people to endure this hideous arena...

  The last time I was there, I was "counseled" for pouring ice-water over myself. I admit it. I DID pour ice water over myself. I purposely wore clothing that would not become transparent when wet, because I had EVERY INTENTION of pouring ice water all over myself, all day, every day.

  The only way I could have survived sitting there in a blast furnace was by pouring ice water all over myself. I poured it all over people all around me, too. They were VERY appreciative, I must say. In fact, I was the "ICE WATER GODDESS" for three days. It was hard work, maintaining a steady supply of ice water. It was my contribution to the poor humanity with whom I shared deplorable, sickening, and ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY AND AVOIDABLE inhumane treatment.

  The girls walking around on the upper deck of the Veteran's Stadium who were wearing practically zip in terms of clothes were fine... but me, in my ice water soaked clothing, got pulled aside and counseled by some little DIPWAD freak and his father. I actually LAUGHED at him.

  I'm still laughing (not really)

  Convention free now, and amazed that people actually still submit to such egregious abuse,

  Why do some believe in alien conspiracies?

  i've been thinking why a few here buy into things such as the illuminati conspiracies, or secret alien takeovers of our society, the masons taking over the world, and other far-fetched ideas.

  i'm sure there are an abundant number of reasons for this, some of which apply to people in general.

  but i think there are factors that are unique to those who have left high-control groups such as the wts.
