Yes, NC... why? Why did YOU need to defend (sorry, that's not what you were doing... even though it was. Some TRUTH here, people!)? Michelle can't a double to the pitch SHE threw out there? Then what in the WORLD is she doing on the field?? And why are YOU pinch-hitting for her? Oh, that's right: you also hate the other "team". Well, they say the quickest way to bring two enemies together... is to give them a common enemy...

Aguest, I never defended Myelaine's insults. I didn't. I really didn't. I have called her on them plenty of times. I was just pointing out that she is not operating in a vacuum. I think it is mean to put people down for having been JW elders. They have enough to come to terms with, like us, and rubbing salt in isn't nice. I wish you wouldn't do that.

Did you want to address the challenges I made in regard to your post? Because I don't think I want to hang around if all you want to do is fight. I don't know that this can be salvaged. I'll remember this next time I have a challenge--off limits.

I absolutely will call other believers wrong when they teach something to be true, that is in opposition of Christ, especially if that something is of hate, anger, fear, threats, etc. When it is something that i do NOT know the answer to... AND... it is not in conflict with Christ and love, then I 'shelve it' until (or if) I get clarification. I have no reason to call it wrong, if it is not in conflict with Christ and love, and if I do not have any different knowledge. And if I do understand differently, but what someone else is still not in conflict with Christ or love, then I might just state... "I understand a bit differently, but you continue to follow Him as He leads YOU."

Okay, so as long as it does not clearly disagree with your understanding of Christ, it is good to go. Those that believe that the church was built on Peter may just understand it a bit differently. Or is that in conflict with your understanding, and therefore, wrong? This will clear things up for me.

Outlaw, please don't misrepresent what I am doing. I am certainly NOT disputing a mod decision, and even said so. I don't think it is okay for Myelaine to say such things, and have said that I disagree with her. I just found the tiny mind/heart comment mean. That didn't challenge the mods in any way. It happened afterward. So, please, don't paint it otherwise.

I think I have learned one thing though. Challenge, even when respectful, is simply not allowed. It brought out the whole crew. I did notice that the challenge was not responded to, and instead this has deteriorated into a tribal fight. Sooooo----what's up? If I overstepped by putting forth a respectful challenge, just tell me so. At least then I will know where the boundary is.

Please... stop. You saw what occurred... and chose your "side." Let's be HONEST here. I don't FAULT you for that - it doesn't surprise me, at all. But let's at least be honest... real. C'mon, NC... I was beginning to have some respect for you, beginning to think that you didn't fear [what people thought of you] as much as I thought. At least be honest about what YOU'RE doing in regard to this situation: "respectfully" letting me know that as far as YOU are concerned, every one can hurl insults, be abusive, even bully... except me. You folks don't BELIEVE I hear Christ... but you demand that I ACT like I do, as far you think YOU know what he would act like ('cause "it's in the Bible")... even though what's in the Bible doesn't comport with what you THINK he would do.

I was referring to my challenge to your post, not the Myelaine thing. I said what I had to say about Myelaine, and was moving on to something else that interested me. As to the rest, I'm getting a bit uncomfortable with the motives you are assigning to me, even though none of that came through in my post. I think maybe you are getting a bit emotional here. Would it be better for me to simply not engage for a while? It seems to upset you a lot when I do. I could be wrong---I'll let you tell me.

And I think it's important to note that I never demanded that you act in any way. Some may have chosen to draw contrasts between things said and scriptures about Jesus, but that wasn't a demand or anything. I even said that I don't expect you to turn the other cheek, but that some balance may be in order. Perhaps you were addressing someone else.

May I respectfully ask one thing of you? Please stop insinuating that I'm not being honest. There is no need for that.

Aguest, I'm truly confused now. I did address your post and contrast it with others things that have been said. Where are you going with this? I made a committment to address you respectfuly and only challenge your ideas. That's what I did. If I messed up, please show me where, specifically. Because in all honesty, I don't know where it is. If you give me a specific, I can look into it. Thank you.

If it were, you would have at least had the childlike mind to point out BOTH "errors" if indeed you felt there were two... starting with the first.

Now why are you attacking me personally and making references to my mind? Why do you keep using the fact that Cofty used to be an elder as a weapon against him? He's not a JW anymore. You used to be a JW too. Why do you use it as though it invalidates what a person has to say today? I don't think that is nice. I don't know why you came at me and Cofty like this, but we didn't do it to you.

Maybe just take a breath or two. Nobody attacked you. They challenged some of your ideas. They observed some mean things you said. They did not return evil for evil. Calm down. Let's not trash this thread. Let's discuss it.

As far as pointing out both errors, I think that Myelaines error was pointed out. No need to rub it in. I was moving forward to the next issue.

The desperation to bring AGuest down, by any means, just beggars belief. She reacts to personal insults, on her own thread, the one insulting gets warned ......and out come the attackers. So predictable every time. If it wasnt so pathetic it would be laughable.

Loz? I didn't attack, nor did I support an attack. Tec, forgive me, but we have discussed in detail that you don't call other believers wrong, so I was questioning exactly what that meant. Is that off limits? Is it correct to call another believer wrong or is it incorrect? Or does it vary from person to person? Why is everyone getting so defensive? I was very respectful. I didn't resort to personal attacks. I challenged an idea. Why is this so offensive and in need of defenders?

What was inappropriate about my post? Please be specific. Because I don't know anymore. I was incredibly careful, and now I'm getting piled on. Why is that happening? Is it okay to challenge, respectfully, or is it not?

Also, I was simply addressing a post that Aguest made, and contrasted it with other things said. That was not an attack. That was a simple challenge, and a resepectful one. I didn't think she would need to be defended from such. It's a valid observation. Is that off limits too?
