This convention blows
by Anony Mous inseriously, half day in (already had an argument with the wife this morning about individuality in the organization in which she conceded that a lot of it is based on looks) and this is already getting on my nerves.
i'll post a rebuttal based on my annotations later in the week but one thing i got to get off my mind: saying the feminist movement (women going to work instead of staying home) and the diversity laws (allowing for homosexuality - but also religious freedom, racial discrimination etc.
) caused a lot of the problems in our world right from the stage.. there are less people here than last year - about 500 less..

They can join a Baptist church or any other evangelical church.
So nice to have your permission tiny Napolean.
If I know 2+2=4, not 5, does that make me arrogant and superior for stating it over and over while dissing those who insist it is 5?
I have now seen the light. From this day forward I shall worship the number 4 and hate all those worshipping the number 5. Those bastards will burn in hell, and when they are exposed to the presence of the great 4 they will shudder in misery. Clearly 4 is the true god! When you hit caps, it causes itself to become $ whereas 5 only becomes %--it is clearly lacking. It is only a portion of 4 and lacks great substance.

throw the baby out with the bathwater
Are you aware that you have used this metaphor at least 20 times? Like your god, even your metaphors express violence against babies.
OH YOUR GOD, would you please come up with something new? Here let me help you:
Don't flush the turd with the toilet water.
Don't throw away the botulism with the food.
Don't cast the incest, rape, murder, racism, homophobia, stonings and hellfire away with the bible.
Can I get some help here? This is a creative bunch. Godroozadoo needs some new metaphors

It was not a fickle, capricious judgment without repeated offers of mercy and grace
LOL, tell that to the Cannanites. I'm pretty sure most didn't know what hit them.
It will be clear when you stand before Him that His ways were right, good, true, no other way. The issue will be His perfection/holiness/love contrasted with your sin/rebellion/selfishness/foolishness. The OT will not be an excuse to get you off the hook
OH BOY, I bet that made you feel good. It's a great feeling to believe you're right. LOL My don't you carry a powerful message. OOOOO you are so brave to anonymously annouce to your computer screen that everyone that doesn't think you're a f*cking genius is going to hell. We Are Not Worthy to be blessed by such holiness. Maybe you should go to the EX-PENTECOSTAL SITE where people are suffering PHOBIAS, HALLUCINATIONS, PANIC ATTACKS, CLINICAL DEPRESSION, AND DISSOLUTION when they woke up from your goofy haze.

They say over and over and OVER that a young person shouldn't date until they are ready for marriage.
Then they say over and over and OVER that baptism is a more serious committment than marriage.
Then they push for children to get baptized younger and younger.
Insane much?

My JW Daughter Engaged In "Bad Association" On Friday Night
by snowbird inshe attended a local club for her company's celebration party.. they were saluting her for doing an outstanding job.. she wore a pretty little black dress and those heels again.

i tell you, that girl is getting bolder and bolder, or is it more and more brazen?.

Oh that's great Syl. You must be so proud. Too bad your daughter is so brazen though!
But seriously, congratualations. When my own daughter makes me proud that way I feel like I could burst. At those moments if anyone were to criticize her I'd be handing them back their heads.

I knew someone that was baptized at 12 and disfellowshipped at 13. He didn't tell me why, but most normal teenage behavior and mildly rebellious teenage behavior will get ya into trouble. Three decades later he still hadn't gone back.
