LOL Falcon. Those videos were HYSTERICAL. I mean who would have thought of putting the deeds, laws and wishes of a blood thirsty, angry, baby killing god to pretty music? It makes it go down so much easier! Praise Cthulu and Peace to You!

recent events on this board have got me thinking, which is no small feat.
christians are arguing more with each other than with atheists.. christians used to be sure of what they believed solid in their faith and certain of its foundation cornerstone and what he was called.
only non-believers cast doubt and were crushed under a mountain of bible passages that were heaped upon them.

i did'nt like the convention (no surprice), but what do i hate the drama on saturday.
a shocking inside look in a jw perfect family.
the solution of their problems are stupid.
LOL, this reminds me of a zealous young boy I knew. He had aspirations of becoming a missionary, living at bethel, being an elder and maybe one day being a CO. He was hysterical from the stage. They'd ask a couple of young kids what their future goals were and they'd usually say pioneering. Not this little fire ball. He wasn't born in and when he was quite young his mother tried to terminate her study. The sisters turned to leave and the little boy chased them down the driveway begging them to come back.
Fast forward just a few years---he disasssociated back when they still announced such things. He was a teenager and quite bright. I'm sure he just got on the internet. Maybe he is here. He'll recognize his story if he is.

although it was wrong for the wtbts to claim this i the '60s, '70s, and '80s, i'm pretty sure (correct me if i'm wrong) that most "experts" believed it too.
idk.. but did most people believe, especially experts -in the 1990s- that if you don't scream or fight when threatend with rape, you have committed fornication?
the wts did.
But secular sources don't claim to be spirit directed! If the org is so at the mercy of current societal views, then where does that super hero holy spirit come in?
In the 80's attitudes had already changed a great deal. I'm sure there were areas that still held to old ideas, particularly rural and outlaying areas. I was in a city and rape was considered violence and was not to be blamed on the woman. The org was in BROOKLYN NEWYORK, they weren't some back woods church. They have no excuse cuz they had the spirit. praisejah.
here's an idea i was thinking about.
i have to cover my ass on this one by saying that i'm not saying for anyone to actually do this *wink* *wink*.
i wonder what the effect would be if a current apostate member who has a key to their hall and were to go into their hall, late at night, when nobody would be there.
just watched this video on you tube...thought i would share it...enjoy!.

not just from the bible, but from secular writers and others.
or other similar mistakes/lies regarding quotes and stories and things like that.. .
i have noticed a few, but i can't remember most of them... oops.
I can't tell you exact quotes, but I know about a scientific find they misrepresented. To support the flood myth, the blue evolution book pointed to a baby mammoth that was found frozen. They said it had been frozen so quickly, it's flesh was still edible. This was supposed to support their theory about rapid climate change brought on by the flood.
I researched the actual find, and the story was quite different. The underside of the mammoth was badly decomposed. No evidence of flash freezing. The researchers got it in their heads that they wanted to eat mammoth stew. So they used some of the meat along the skull. this was bonier and so had frozen more completely before decompostion. Turns my stomach to think about it.
Still they misrepresented the facts. They COULD have simply taught that the story had to be taken on faith. Instead they tried to integrate science by telling a partial story to support a wrong conclusion. Shame on them.

can anyone tell me if it was ever written that spending too much time with your kids is in effect idolising them.. i recall it being said by a co during an elder's meeting, but was it just one child hating co, or something embedded into the wt culture from the top down?.
so i am talking religion to my coworker and freely admit i used to be a jw.
he said thats interesting my wife grew up with some, and they are a weird set of people.
i agreed, explained about the holidays, which he knew and called it a day.
i've been a very naughty punk and am hoping a good looking babe will spank me.....any offers?
ahem!
away from desired fantasy and to reality...........(but you can pm me...wink wink).
What youtube video? LOL I started an account with the name CallHeadquarters. Thought I might comment.

tonight i'm officially no longer an unbaptized publisher after two months of no reports.
the zealous elder i have mentioned before got an earful of my thoughts and jumped on me with the guilting and about 2 hrs of studying 607 + blood.
i admitted researching and he had told me how you guys are no more than 100 resentful, lifeless, disfellowshipped people just hating on them.
but i've heard other people on here saying that they in fact do come here, and try to finger people. although they may have been misinformed
Not misinformed CP. One of the members actually had elders come to her home with all of her comments, FROM THIS APOSTATE SITE, printed out. They do come here, but apparently don't have to answer for it.
