  Picture on book "You can live forever"

  i remember that a few months ago, a member gave the reproduction of a publicity corresponding exactly to the picture of a nice swimming girl appearing in the "you can live forever ..." book.. this image is on my website (the first one on the page) :.

  would it be possible to put again this publicity on the forum ?.

  How do you know it is plagiarism? Maybe they just payed for this picture.
  That somebody else also used the picture says nothing. It is quite normal to pay for a picture on a use onlybasis, not to have the absolute only use of a picture. This happens a lot in advertisements etc, that same picturs are used for different companies.

  Their track record. They NEVER cite sources nor give credit to the original author.

  It should be easy enough. Print out the two photos and send a letter of inquiry to the WBTS Public Affairs office. JR Brown will be happy to take your call.

  We need to find alternative sources of energy and not depend on 22% of our oil coming from there.

  Just today I was gassing up behind all of the guzzling SUVs, and I was thinking....how fu@king stupid are we? Create a fuel source that has you filling up, running low, and running back out to fill up like a damn nitwit!!!!! Um, YEAH, that's long term planning!

  How haughty our leadership to believe that this supply of fuel was inexhaustable. What sell-outs our American corporations for, all in the name of the almighty dollar regardless of political affiliations.

  It makes you wonder.....what else is America relying on the rest of the world for....and should we be long-term planning for that need, do you think?

  National Healthcare for the USA

  just an fyi for anyone interested - there is a major drive on to push the bill forward for national healthcare in the usa.

  you can sign the petition by going to http://www.onecarenow.org/.. it has gone through one part of the process last year and now the push is on to get it moved to the next level - it is backed by over 400 groups including the uaw i believe.

  it is no longer if it happens, it is only a matter of time as to when it happens.

  As for the sensationalist article about an NHS foul-up, do you honestly believe that's commonplace?

  Yes, I do. And Yes, I do believe NHS in the UK is in financial trouble. I wonder what will happen when we have an NHS system that collapses under the Ponzi scheme construction....like Social Security over here. Six has claimed that the two are not congruent, but offered no proof.

  We know what happens when the bottom line swells....more money has to be paid in via increased taxation or the benefits have to be cut. Case in point, the article which pointed out not one but MANY instances of medical supply re-use. That is just sick.

  If the article had proved *your* point you'd be quick to claim it as legitimate.

  This wouldn't be the first time they stole photos or material for their articles.

  They also stole one from a Johnny Walker Black bottle, and were sued over it. Therefore, in the Bound Volume for that year, there was a different picture used for the cover.

  They plaguerize articles with impunity, never citing the author or source, and typically the author or source has been misquoted to prove a JW "point."

  its an insurance/news letter that i purchased online.

  i am thinking of distributing to local hospital human resource departments to inform them of their need to ask questions when hiring people with religious views that may affect their work.

  Just wanted to let you know, I cut and pasted this article to a friend of mine who is an HR consultant for medical groups. This friend also happens to be an XJW, who still has very kindly feelings toward the organization, so I try to be careful about which 'nuggets' I leave for him.

  However a lot of his clinics are in the process of trying to get accredited and it's up to him to advise them on things like potential HIPAA violations, which this certainly falls under.

  He was blown away.

  as i get older, i understand more the generation gap we always remembered being mentioned with our parents.

  i always thought i was on top of the music scene, as i used to run a music and video store in the late 80's.

  i thought it kept me on a path, that would keep me in the know of what was hot and what was not.

  his lifestyle had nothing to do with it....freak accident....less than three deaths in Australia from sting rays.

  How many of you have gone scuba diving? could have happened to you. A Croc didn't kill him, he had a freak accident.
